where...am I?..... in front of me, a dining table and food for breakfast? What is this?
"Oh... youre awake... here sweetie." A woman placed a meal in front of me. I glanced up at her. A kind smile, innocent eyes, and a sweet voice. I guess this woman happens to be my mother. I saw a man sitting at the other side of the table and reading the newspaper, guessing this is my father. And the little boy who was sitting beside him was my brother.
My mother sits next to me."We love you" they said. We were so happy together. The sun shines bright, the birds are singing, and a happy life with these people. As I stand up to come closer, a glass shattered to pieces. And everything changes in the blink of an eye.
Everything around me was red, nothing but red. Red hot flames and red blood all over the town. Blood on the walls, on the ground, Screaming, running, people crying as they were killed by the men with big guns. Destruction, chaos, fear, and terror. That's all I see here. My mother grabbed me and took me and my brother down to the cellar. She said its safe down here....
then.....
Knock knok knock...
I opened my eyes and return to reality. I rubbed my eyes and took a deep breath. "What was that?" I muttered to myself. My head aches when I opened my eyes and felt like my chest was about to burst. It felt like I was having a bad dream.... what was it about? I can't seem to remember.
Knock knock knock...
I glanced at the door. I get off of my bed and opened the door.
"Goodmorning....." He said. standing in front of me was a boy. Has golden brown curly hair, grey eyes, and kind. This boy is Eight.
"Why are you here?" I asked. I looked at the wall clock and its still 4:35 in the morning. What does he want at this hour?
"Umm..... didn't Charlie give you the schedule? It says that the training starts at 4:30 and you're already late." He said while waving the paper in front of my face. Oh right. The special training.
"So?...."
"Soo Charlie aksed me to pick you up and you need to hurry. The others are waiting for us." Eight said. So what if I'm late? It's not like it's my first...
I stepped out of my cabin and closed the door behind me. Eight stares at me. He looks like an idiot.
"What?" I said.
"Uh.... nothing..." then he avoids eye contact. What's wrong with him? Eight and I walk our way to the fields. While we were walking, his eyes are staring at me. I just ignore it. Maybe he'll stop. I looked at my left side to avoid contact.
Is it me? Or the fields getting farther? This is turning to be a long walk. I glanced up at Eight. He's still staring. Ugh.... that's it.... I stopped walking.
"Why do you keep staring at me?" It bothers me a lot. And it's creeping me out.
He flinched. "Uh.... wh- I mean, does it hurt?" He asks and points the wound on my right arm.
"No." I answered and started walking again. He followed.
"Really?" He said. I ignored it. "Geez, that fight between you and Five yesterday was surprising" what?!
"You saw?" He nods. "Why didn't you tell the trainers then?" I asked. Usually when the others saw me and Five fighting they imediately call the trainers to stop it or they would just stop the fight themselves.
