Luz x Fem!Witch!Reader
Luz had her first day at Hexside. While she planned on studying all the tracks, she ended up stuck in potions. But, Luz, being her optimistic self, tried to see the best of the opportunity. I mean, there was this really pretty girl she sat behind.
The first few days, Luz tried to pay attention to her work, but she kept daydreaming about making friends with the girl.
After class, the girl had to stay back to talk to the teacher, and so Luz camped outside the door, planning on ambushing her when she left.
Gus and Willow walk while Luz was leaning on the wall. "Hey Luz."
"Hey guys."
"Are you ready to go?" Gus asks.
"Uhhh... go where?"
"You said we were going to help each other with homework after school." Willow explains.
"Oh, right." Luz says, obvious disappointment in her tone.
"You don't have to if you don't want to. Me and Gus can do it alone." Willow says.
"No! I can help. I was just wanting to make friends with this girl, Y/N. She's inside the class right now."
"I think I've heard about her." Willow mentions.
"Ooo, Do you have an, as the humans say, crash?" Gus teases.
Luz laughs. "It's crush, Gus. And I don't... know. Huh. I nave really thought about that before."
"Well, if you do it's fine. There's nothing wrong with it." Willow says.
"I know, but I've never had much luck when it comes to love." Luz sighs.
"Is that her?" Gus points to a person who has just walked out of potions. Luz was so deep in thought, she hadn't noticed.
"Oh, yeah!" Luz runs over to Y/N. "Hey, Y/N!"
Y/N turns around at the mention of her name. Luz fails to slow down and crashes right into her, making both of them fall down.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry." Luz stands up, holding a hand out to Y/N.
Y/N takes it, and stands up. "It's okay. I don't think I got any bruises."
Luz smiles and watches Y/N situate her books under her arm, bouncing on her toes a little. Y/N smiles at Luz when she finishes a little awkwardly.
"Uhh, Hi?"
"Oh, right. Hehe." Luz chuckles awkwardly. "You may not know me, I sit behind you in potions."
"I know you! You're the human. Luz, right?"
"Yep! I, uhh... uhhh." Luz panics a little realizing she didn't know what to say. "Do you have the notes from today? I had zoned out accidentally."
"Yeah, sure. If you give me your number I can text you the notes."
"Perfect!"
Y/N tears two pieces of paper out of her notebook, writing her number on one. She hands the other to Luz along with a pencil. Luz gives Y/N her number.
"Great, I'll text you them when I get home?"
"That works for me!" Luz says, putting the paper that had Y/N's number in her pocket.
"Great. See you later!" Y/N walks off, leaving Luz alone.
Luz takes the paper out of her pocket and looks at it with a little blush, giggling. She jumps up and lets out a small "Yes!"
She notices Willow and Gus giggling a few feet behind her. She blushes harder and stuffs the number back in her pocket.
