Cerise Hood x Fem!Royal!Reader

Cerise was running through the woods with her brother. She reaches the end before him and smirks. 

He barks and sits down, panting. Cerise pats his head. "I beat you again. Better luck next time." 

Rustling in the bushes startles both of them. Cerise's brother scrambles up and away. Cerise panics and wonders where to go. She tries to run behind a tree, but the person had already gotten through the brush.

"Cerise?" Y/N gasps. "What are you doing here?"

"I... uhh... was just on a walk! What about you?" Cerise lies.

"I also went out on a walk. Had to get away from my responsibilities as a royal." Y/N sits on a log and pats the spot next to her. Cerise hesitatingly sits down. "Who were you talking to? I heard voices."

"Oh! Uh, myself. Had to deal with the stress as a rebel." Cerise jokes.

Y/N giggles. Cerise blushes and pulls down her hood more.

Y/N notices. "Why do you always wear your hood?"

"I'm... self-conscious about my ears. I don't like people seeing them." It wasn't a total lie.

Y/N leans in a bit closer. "I'm sure your ears are beautiful. What kind of stress are you under? Do you want to talk about it?"

Cerise glances at Y/N's lips, whispering. "Just stress. Like how I like a royal and we can't be together."

"Ah. Do I know this royal? Maybe I can help." Y/N asks.

"Yeah, you do. You two are actually very close. She has beautiful h/c hair and deep e/c eyes. Her face is a the face of a goddess, and her personality is even prettier." 

The two could feel each other's breath. Both of their hearts were going crazy. "She sounds absolutely wonderful." 

"That's a bit narcissistic, Princess Y/N." Cerise whispers.

"Why is that?" Y/N smirks, making their noses touch. She knew what she was doing. She wanted to hear Cerise say it.

Both of them stay silent, a bit scared to do anything next.

"Y/N." Cerise breathes. 

"Hmm?" 

Cerise sighs and turns her head away. Y/N gasps and widens her eyes, sadness written all over her face. Tears begin to fill up her eyes. 

"We can't." Cerise glances at Y/N, noticing her expression and looks away again.

"But-"

"You're a royal!" Cerise stands up and paces a bit. "How do you think people will react, how Apple will react when they find you with someone like me."

Y/N stands up and grabs Cerise's hand. "No one has to know. We can keep it a secret." 

"Secrets like this don't last long." Cerise takes her hand out of Y/N's. "I'm sorry." Cerise walks away, leaving Y/N alone.
