My Human (Maleficent)

This lowkey goes against the plot a little. Stefan is alive and the king but Maleficent still has her wings.

Maleficent x Fem!Reader

This was it. This was her deathbed. This is what she gets for sneaking away to the forest in her free time. Looking back on it, it was a really dumb idea. As a maid in the castle, she should've know she couldn't do anything without the king finding out. 

At first Y/N just ran away to get some freedom. That's how she met her. The love of her life. Maleficent. 

To be honest, neither of them liked each other when they first met. Though after a while, they began to see each other as a good friends, and even longer after, they developed feelings for each other. Then the king found out, and ordered Y/N executed.

Far away, Maleficent woke up, all sweaty. Something was off. Her human was in danger. Maleficent instantly flies up and over to the kingdom, ignoring the questions from the creatures. 

Tears form in Y/N's eyes as the executioner puts the rope around her neck. He goes over the the lever. Y/N sniffles and whispers to herself as she closes her eyes, thinking of Maleficent.

"I love you."

The executioner grabs the lever, ready for King Stefan's command. The kind raises his hand and slices it over his neck. 

Suddenly, a big creature lands right in front of the hanging station. The air forces the executioner back and away from the lever, as well as forcing the crowd backwards a bit. 

Maleficent opens her wings, glaring at the humans, her gaze becoming a panicked one as she notices Y/N. She glides onto the platform and puts her hand on Y/N's cheek.

"Are you okay? Did they hurt you?" She questions.

Y/N smiles and sobs happy tears, shaking her head. "No. I'm fine."

Maleficent smiles softly, using her magic to unbind Y/N. "Get to the river. I'll meet you there.." Y/N nods and runs off, hiding in the crowd until she could get a better spot.

Maleficent turns around and glares at Stefan. The king looked at her a bit frightened. She flew up to his platform and grabbed his collar before he could unsheathe his sword. She flies him up to the tallest tower and holds him over the edge. Stefan kicks his legs, scared for his life.

Maleficent's eye glow green as she brings his face close to hers. "You will listen to me closely. Never, ever, touch my human again. There will be severe consequences." 

King Stefan nods what he could of his head. "I'll leave her alone. No one will bother her again."

Maleficent nods and flies back down to the big crowd. She drops him a couple feet, high enough to knock the wind out of him but not fatally injure him. "Cowardly King." She spits before zippo no away to the river to meet Y/N. 

Some guards rush to the Kings side. "I'm okay, I'm okay." He says. The guards help him stand up. "Find that maid!" He orders. They all rush off to search everywhere. 

Maleficent lands by the river, looking around. "Y/N?" 

"Here!" Y/N runs out of some bushes and into Maleficent's arms. The two hug for a minute, but Maleficent pulls away. 

"Come with me to the forest. We can live together and you won't ever be in trouble again. I can keep you safe."

Y/N nods and smiles. "Okay." Maleficent grins widely and picks up Y/N bridal style and flies her over the river. Maleficent takes her time flying back, going slow and steady. Y/N drifts off, laying her head on Maleficent's shoulder. 

Maleficent lands softly, growing a bed of flowers and moss to lay Y/N down on. Y/N stays alseep and so Maleficent kisses her forehead. 

She begins to walk off but Y/N grabs her wrist. "Please stay." 

Maleficent smiles. "How can I say no to you?" She lays down next to her and wraps an arm around her waist. "My little human."
