Chapter 18: Feel The Way I Do

(First of all, I'm so, so, sorry for not updating and being the worst.)

Camila's POV

I pounded on Lauren's door and said her name several times before she angrily opened up. She looked like she was about to punch my face in.

"CAMILA WHAT THE FUCK IM TRYING TO STUDY OKAY? IT'S FUCKING TEN O'CLOCK WHAT COULD YOU POSSIBLY NEED AT THIS HOUR?"

She pushed me back hard and I stumbled onto the floor. She looked down at me with the most hatred I had seen her express towards anyone.

At first I was stunned at her reaction, then I felt tears threatening to fall. What did I do to upset her in the first place? Why does she only yell at me now? Doesn't she love me?

"I just wanted to know what I did to you that made you treat me like shit, but you know what Lauren? If this is how you're going to treat me now, then go right ahead but I want nothing to do with you and your manipulative and abusive behavior. I'm done. We are over Lauren Jauregui."

I woke up screaming with tears streaming endlessly down my face. Out of all of the nightmares I've had about Lauren and I, this was by far the worst. My parents were out of town for a few nights, so they haven't been hearing my nightly outbursts. Unfortunately for my baby sister, she heard all of them. Sofi came running into my room and hugged me with as much force as she could build up. She was crying on my shoulder, and I on hers, when she pulled away and stared at me sadly.

"Did Lauren hurt you again?"

Of course Lauren isn't actually hurting me, in fact she's been nothing short of perfect. But lately for some reason my dreams and thoughts about us have been getting scarier and scarier. I rubbed Sofi's back lightly and told her that Lauren isn't really hurting me, it was just another nightmare.

"I don't like Lauren anymore Mila. She keeps hurting you and I don't like it when you get hurt."

"Dot say that Sof. Thank you for caring about me, but Lauren isn't actually doing anything to me. And I know that she would be very hurt if she thought that you didn't like her."

Sofi frowned and pouted. She told me that she would like Lauren again but she doesn't like me getting hurt, so I promised I would stop hurting.
Sofi fell asleep after a few minutes and cuddled into my side. When I was about to close my eyes and try to sleep, my phone lit up on the bedside table.

From: Lolo 💕
Hey babe, I can't sleep :( can I come over?

To: Lolo 💕
Yes, but Sofi is asleep next to me. You can sleep on the couch.

From: Lolo 💕
:( I need you though

As soon as I read her text there was a soft knock on the front door. I gently moved Sofi off of me without waking her and went downstairs to get Lauren. As soon as I opened the door Lauren pulled me into a bone crushing hug and let out quiet whimpers. She was crying.

"You're really okay..." She whispered
"I love you Camila. I love you. More than anything. I love you. So much."

Lauren nuzzled her face into my neck and mumbled 'I love you' over and over. I walked us over to the couch and say down. She was still clinging to me and curled up on my lap.

"What's wrong Lolo? I love you too baby you don't need to keep saying it I know you love me. I love you too Lauren."

Reluctantly, Lauren pulled away from me and looked down at her lap.

"I had a bad dream Camz..I was scared you were going to leave me...you said you didn't love me anymore.." Lauren was still crying and I was trying to wipe her tears away with my thumbs.

"You don't have to worry about me ever stopping my love for you Lauren. I love you more and more everyday. I would never leave you."

Lauren put her head on my shoulder an relaxed a little bit. I sighed, pulling her up and walked us to my room upstairs. Sofi was still asleep on my bed with Bo at the end. I laid down with Lauren and she and Sofi both instantly cuddled up to me. We both fell asleep soon after, when I herd Lauren whisper "I love you Camz" into my neck.

I love you too Lauren.
