Chapter 12: I Kissed A Girl

( This chapter will be primarily in Camila's point of view, also sorry for any grammatical or punctual errors )

Camila's POV

I'm really frustrated with myself right now. I don't know why I blew Lauren off and ignored her like that, I don't know why I pretended to be asleep this morning when she kissed me again, I don't know why I took advantage of her last night, I just dont really know anything right now. My head feels like it's about to explode from thinking too much..or not thinking enough. I need to make this right with Lauren and apologize for screwing up our friendship. I'm going to shower and then go tell her everything. I can do this.

After I showered I put on my black and white crop top with a bow in the front, my floral skirt, some black converse, and a pink bow. I want to look good for Lauren so I let my hair go natural and put on some red lipstick. My make up was minimal but still enough for Lauren to appreciate it. I brush my teeth and take one last look in the mirror. I hope Lauren will talk to me..

Before I know it I'm on Lauren's doorstep knocking on the door. I can hear someone coming down the stairs, and soon enough Lauren is standing in front of me. Her face is stained with tears and her eyes are all red and puffy. I made Lauren cry. Smooth Camila.

"Hi Camz.."

"Hi Lauren.."

"What are you doing here Camz? Do you need a ride somewhere?"

"No..why would you think that?"

"You look like you're about to walk down the red carpet Camz."

She thinks I look like I'm going on a red carpet? God she's adorable. I couldn't help but blush and try to hide it by looking down at the ground.

"You have a perfect smile Camz. You shouldn't hide it. Even your blush is perfect. I love when I make you smile.."

Lauren whispered the last part so I wouldn't hear it, but I'm so glad I did.

"You can always make me smile Lo"

Now Lauren's the one blushing. While she was busy looking at the ground I got to look at her more closely. She's wearing a Nirvana sweatshirt that hangs off her shoulders in the most attractive way possible. Her ripped black jeans hug her curves and she looks so amazing. Her hair is messy from being laid on, her eyes look tired and puffy from crying and sleeping, and her lips are still red as ever. She's so cute ugh

"er..anyways..why are you here again?"

"um..I wanted to talk to you..er actually I wanted to apologize to you. I know what I did last night was wrong and I shouldn't have taken advantage of you. I know you were drunk and I didn't really think you would remember anything and I honestly didn't even know if anything would happen between us. I'm also sorry for pretending to be asleep this morning when you kissed me again, I don't know what I was thinking. I'm sorry for blowing you off this morning and leaving you in the car. I don't really know what else to say besides I'm sorry Lauren. For everything."

When I finished my speech Lauren was looking at the floor while playing with her hands. Her eyes were closed now, like she was debating something in her mind. She looked up at me and took a step closer, putting her hand under my chin so I was looking directly into her eyes.

"I wasn't drunk Camz."

Wait what?

"Yes you were..you had to be.."

"I thought you were drunk...I thought I accidentally took advantage of you...I felt so bad Camila..."

"Wait so, neither one of us was drunk?"

"I guess not Camz"

We were both silent. What else is there to say? The next thing I know I'm leaning in to Lauren. I lean in slowly so she has time to push me away or something, but she starts to lean in also. Before I have time to think about what's happening, Lauren and I are kissing once again. I can't believe how great this is, the way that she's so gentle with me, like I would break if she added pressure. The kiss was short but it was perfect.

"Camz.."

"Lauren.."

"whats going on with us?"

"I don't know Lolo..but I know that I like you..a lot.."

"I feel the same about you..what do we do now?"

"I have no idea Lauren...maybe I should go."

"No Camila. Don't you dare leave me right now. Don't you dare kiss me and leave me again. Don't even think about it."

"sorry Lo..."

"Camz"

"Yeah Lolo?"

"You know Halloween is coming up, I have an idea for what you could be."

What the hell? It's barely even fall, what does Halloween have to do with anything right now?

"Um..ok..what should I be then?"

"My girlfriend."

OH MY GOD LAUREN IS SO DORKY

"You're such a dork Lauren.."

After saying that I kissed her with all the passion I could find in my heart. She kissed back almost immediately with the same amount of passion as I had and it was even better than before.

"of course I'll be your girlfriend Lauren"
