12 years ago~

Mime and Fluffles were playing outside together, tackling each other and joking around. Though Mime didn't talk, Fluffles still loved him for who he is. They would visit each other pretty much every single day, play together, and go to many events around the town they lived in. Sometimes, Fluffles would bring Mime to her room and tell him about her favorite songs and try singing for him, Mime would also do tricks and make plays for her...He Played For Her. They've been best friends since they were tiny Babies...now here they are, ages of 5-6 and doing their usual hangout routine. But there was always something up with Fluffles' other family members, Her Parents loved how she was so close to Mime, but her Grandparents always thought that she would hang out with Mime so much to the point she wouldn't want to play with other children, but that wasn't the case...she just needed more time. The Grandparents soon convinced Fluffles' parents to move away from the town they lived in and to move in another town, just so they could get Fluffles and Mime to separate, thinking that could get her to interact with other children, but it only got worse....

Fluffles walked in the living room to only see her parents packing up everything "Hi Mom! Hi Dad! What are you guys doing?" She asked sweetly, Her Mother went up to her and kneeled down to her level "We're Moving Honey. To a brand new town." She said, Fluffles soon gave look of shock "Yeah Kiddo! Aren't ya excited!! Your Grandparents thought it would be a good idea!" Her dad said, Fluffles was at a loss of words, she couldn't explained how sad she was..."Mime is...gonna come?" She asked "I'm sorry Fluffs, Mime can't come with us." Her Mother claimed. Fluffles eyes filled with tears, Her parents fell right in their trap, and nobody knew it, not even Fluffles. She doesn't really have a strong bond with her grandparents, but of course, she was devastated. "Now go pack your things honey! Everything will be okay, we could visit your friend Mime from time to time!" Her Mother admitted "But Mommy! Mime is my best friend! We are best friends forever! I can't leave him!" Fluffles exclaimed, her parents just remained silent. They had no words for how she felt, Fluffles ran into her room, closing the door behind her. She stayed in her room for hours...

It took awhile, but she finished packing all of her things, for a 5-6 year old, she was pretty smart. It was now midnight, she would stay up late sometimes because she was on Summer Vacation, and she's home schooled. She went to her bed, face first, and cuddled her pillow, hoping Mime would come by tonight. Why? You may ask. Well, Mime would come by at night because the information about his home and parents are unknown, so he would give Fluffles late night visits from time to time. They would conversate, tell stories, draw, and many more! And when Fluffles would feel tired, he knew on cue to leave. Fluffles was surprise that he knew how to Mime at such a young age, loads of people say he was born a Mime, or he could just be Mute & finds being a Mime perfect for him, but Mime or Not, he will Always make Fluffles happy. She had to keep quiet about this though, Mime would always sneak in through the window, and who knows how long this have been going on for, her parents knew nothing of this...but she never planned on telling them. For Years, since they were 1 or 2, Mime would always be there for Fluffles...And since then, Fluffles been learning more and More on Sign language to understand her Best Best BEST Friend, a Friend she was not yet ready to lose. *Knock Knock* She heard at her window. She  jumped in a bit of fear, walking up to her window and pulling the blinds back....Mime...She smiled and opened the window for him to climb in. He fell down, making Fluffles giggle, he stood back up and greeted her "Heeheehee! Hi Mime!" She cheered, Mime suddenly pulled out something she never imagined to happen...a necklace, it was a heart, He handed it to her, she gasped "For Me!? Oh my goodness! Thank you Mime!" She cheered, Mime silently giggled and put it around her neck. As she was inspecting it, she noticed that the heart can open up, she opened it...to reveal a picture of her and Mime...she looked up at Mime with sparkles in her eyes, Her Fluffy tail began to wag, Mime's Deer ears began to flutter...

Fluffles' Mother was just getting a cup of coffee to bring herself a little of motivation for a little amount of packing she has to do tonight, she soon heard muffled talking coming from one of the rooms....Fluffles' Room...She got confused, and put her ear against the door...what's going on?...

Fluffles Smiled with glee, but she soon remembered the news on her and her family, she then frowned...she had to tell him. She attempted to speak, but only burst into tears, Mime gave a expression of shock and ran by her side, holding her in his arms "M-Mime! Me and my Family are M-M-Moving! I don't want to leave you Mime! You Promised that 'You will always be there' for me! I don't want you to feel like that promise you made will be broken! Please don't be mad!" Fluffles cried out, Mime wiped her tears away and opened the necklace he gave her to reveal a picture of her and him, she gave out a small sniffle "You will always be here in my Heart?" She asked, he nodded. She wiped more of her tears away and smiled at him, hugging him again, she and Mime heard sudden knocking at the door "Fluffs? Are you okay in there? I think I need to come in." Her Mother claimed "Mime! Quick! The window!" She said, Mime made his way towards the window and escaped through there, from outside, he shaped a heart with his hands/paws, tears coming from his eyes...Fluffles had never seen Mime cry before, Well...not actual tears. She cried a little too, shaping a heart in return. Mime ran away and she closed the window...Her Mother came in "Sweetie-" "Why! Why do we have to leave! Mime is my best friend and I love him!" Fluffles cried and ran into her Mom's arms, her mom cradled her "It's okay honey...everything will be okay...Don't cry..." Her mother said.

"You'll see him again..."

In the Morning~

Fluffles and her Parents were putting all of their stuff in the car, some going into the moving truck. Fluffles gave out a sigh...She looked at the sky filled with the expressions of Sadness and anxiety, 'You Played For Me~' she thought as all the memories ran through her head, she soon snapped out of those thoughts when her father placed a hand/paw on her shoulder "Come on Fluffles, let's go!" He said happily, Fluffles giggled and made her way to the car, but right when she was gonna get in, she heard speedy footsteps. She turned around "Mime!!" She cheered, Mime had ran all the way here just to get the chance to say goodbye to her one last time. He and Her experienced their last hug with each other, head on head....'You will always be there' She soon had to leave, but Mime kept hold of her hand/paw, she turned around "I-I'm sorry Mime, I have to go..." She said, Fluffles patted his head and went inside of her car. The engines started and Fluffles looked out the window, Mime shaped another heart for her, she gave him a loving heart in return...The car drove off, Mime waving goodbye to his one and only Childhood Friend...Fluffles couldn't help but feel guilt while she was in the car driving off...She had experienced so many memories with Mime, the ones that she would never forget...is the ones she made with him before she left....

They said to each other....by heart....she would never forget his promise that he made for them....
