My substitute wife

Chapter 5 The Revelation

Lisa had declared Jennie as her wife in front of the entire world. Jennie is officially Mrs. Manoban but Sandra's words running at the back of her mind. During the entire reception, Manoban's family were continuously staring at Jennie and as time passed, the guest started leaving, and eventually, the only ones left were Jennie and Manoban's family. 

As soon as everyone left, Lisa turned to Jennie and yelled, "Who the hell are you?! Where is Karina? What have you done to her?! Have you kidnapped her or something? Speak up!!.. or else.. It won't do you any good."

Jennie's silence just added fuel to Lisa's anger, she screamed again, "Look, are you really trying my patience now. Answer me!... If not then you won't like what's coming next.. It's better for you to speak out." Listening to all the commotion, Marco interrupted, "Wihajun, call the cops, only then will she open her mouth and tell us where Karina is."

Jennie was terrified after seeing the family reaction, and she was left with no other choice but to tell them the truth. In response to Lisa's innumerable question, Jennie answered, "Please, everyone, just hear me out. I am Jennie Won, Karina's elder sister."

Hearing what Jennie had just said, the entire family couldn't believe their ears as they had never seen or met Jennie until this moment.

Lisa's mother Chitt looked at Jennie and with a surprised tone in her voice, "What nonsense!... Stop laying!... You.. Karina's sister.. We haven't heard anything from you.. Neither has your family mentioned you. Do you really think we'll believe you?! She turned toward her daugther and scolded, "And you Lisa! How can you announce her as your wife to the entire world? Are you out of your mind?!"

Listening to her mom, Lisa replied without talking her eyes off Jennie, "Mom, I had no choice. I cannot bear to stain our family's name in front of all those people and the media. Just let me find out what has happened to Karina and then I'm gonna make example out of this woman so that no one, ever messes our family again.

The Manoban' were busy talking and figuring out everything among themselves and no body was paying attention to Jennie's words.

Jennie was weeping in a corner when Lisa's grandmother saw her, the old woman went up to her and said, "Young lady, please tell us where Karina is? If you do, I promise you that we won't hand you over to the cops but if not then I won't able to stop Lisa, you see she love Karina so much."

Listening to grandma, Jennie sobbingly, screamed at the top of her voice, "Please, believe me! I have no clue as to where Karina is and if I did, I would have never even in my dreams tried to replace her. I never wanted to get married, it's only because of my family that I had to go through with this crazy idea."

Listening to Jennie, Lisa could not hold her anger anymore and dragged her out in her house but Marco, on the other hand, hearing Jennie's words, dialed Mr. Won number and kept it on speaker for everyone to hear the truth.

Meanwhile, the other side, Sandra was discussing with Richard that if Manoban figure out that Karina ran away from the wedding then it won't do anything good for them. Listening to his wife, Richard expressed, "Do you still only care about Karina and yourself?.. What about Jennie?.. What if they say or do something to her? That poor girl must be going the hell rigth now.. also she hasn't fully recovered from the accident as well."

Saying this, Richard dashed to his room in anger when his phone rang. Seeing Marco's number fashed in his phone, Richard dreadfully answered, "Hello."

Hearing Richard terrified voice, the other lane Marco asked sharply, "Are you kidding me, Mr. Won?! Who's this woman and why is she claiming to be Karina's sister? Where's Karina? What's going on, Mr. Won? Are you playing with us?!"
