Mr. Manoban took Jennie's hand and asked, "What happened to your hand? Why is it so red?" Jennie told the same excuse that she had made up and told both Wihajun and Sandara. However, Mr. Manoban undertand that it must have something to do with Lisa and that Jennie was hiding that fact. He asked both Wihajun and Jennie to go to their room and rest. Wihajun too was staying at the mansion at that time. Listening to Mr. Manoban, both of them went to their room. Mr. Manoban knew that Jennie would cover for Lisa if he asked her about her hand.

Later, at dinner, everyone's there except for Lisa, Jennie was disappointed as she had not seen her since their last encounter and was worried that she must have skipped her meal. She got up from the table saying that she was tired and needed to rest. Mr. Manoban undertood that it was beacause of Lisa, however he was angry to his daugther for hurting Jennie. After dinner everyone went to sleep.

In the middle of the night, the door slowly creaked open and someone tipteod into Jennie's room. Jennie was tired from work and hence did not wake up as she was in deep slumper. The person slowly walked up to her bed and sat beside her. She touched her hand to look at her scars and gentle stroked her hair causing Jennie to turn towards her in her sleep. Her hair fell on her face and her soft, pink lips shined under the rays of the moonlight which amplified her beauty to such an extent that she look like an angel even as she slept.

The visitor tenderly brushed her hair away from her face and as she did that, her eyes stopped at her lips. She leaned in slowly to place delicate kisses on her forehead and her smooth red cheeks. The moon shining through the window, reflected to her face, radiating her beauty. The stranger slowly moved towards her lips and leaned in to kiss her. With their lips only a few inches apart, she suddenly paused and jolted back and thought, "What I am doing!.. She is sleeping and I'm... I need to leave." She turned to leave when Jennie reached for her hand. The person was none other than Lisa who looked back, freed her hand from her graps, and kissed her forehead back to sleep after she left Jennie's room.

The next morning, as Jennie woke up, she had an inkling that someone was in her room last night but she was not so sure about it. She got ready and headed downstairs for breakfast. Jennie broke into a smile as she saw Lisa having breakfast. Seeing Lisa and brightened up her morning and she skipped her way for her and enthusiastically asked, "Where were you yesterday? You did not drop me home and were not present for dinner as well? What happened?"

Jennie looked like a child complaining to Lisa. Seeing her innocence as she asked her so many questions made Lisa very happy however she did not want to show it in front of everyone. Lisa slipping into her cold demeanor said, "Do I have to report everything to you? Keep your nose out of my business, will you?" Hearing her response, Jennie dejectedly walked away.

Lisa's behavior annoyed her family as well. Mrs. Manoban snarled, "Lisa, what is the matter with you? Why do you always take your anger out of her? This marriage is not her fault... Can't you cut her some slack?" Lisa got up and left without saying anything to her mother. Meanwhile, Jennie was in her room, crying to her self, "Why is she always a jerk to me? I too wanted to someone loves me and respects me. I never wanted this marriage. I don't know I would end up like this." Lisa's words pierced her heart and she felt like she was being punished for a crime that she did not even commit. However, she gathered herself and thought that one day for sure, things would get better and that Lisa reciprocate her feelings for her. Jennie consoled herself and after getting dressed, went downstairs and left for work along with Wihajun. Throughout the drive, Jennie was down in the dumps and Wihajun noticed it, which is why he did not say anything to her. As they reached, Jennie got out of the car and walked straight up to her desk. Wihajun was angry at Lisa he went to her office and growled, "I know you don't like Jennie but that does not mean you can treat her like that. Why do you blame her for everything that has happened? She too is a victim just like you. Why did you have to talk to her like that and end up spoilling her mood? Do you know how sad she looked in the car?" Listening to Wihajun, Lisa replied, "So what? Why did she have to pester me with all those unnecessary questions when she already knows that I can't stand her? I don't care whether she was sad or not." Listening to Lisa, Wihajun threw his arm up in frustration and thought it was no use talking to her anymore and left her office.
