Chapter 6 Clash of feelings

One day, Lisa after getting ready to work, went to have breakfast when she noticed Jennie at the table as well. As soon as she saw her, she furiously went out of the house. Jennie felt sorry for Lisa as she had to skip breakfast because of her and decided not to eat as well.

That day, It was late at night and Jennie was peacefully sleeping, when suddenly Lisa barged into her room. Hearing the loud noice of the door, Jennie jolted up from her sleep and was scared to see Lisa standing in front of her.

Lisa with her big red eyes was stumbling here and there and was glaring at her. After looking closely, Jennie realized that she was drunk. Just then, Lisa pushed her onto the bed and held her hands tightly over her head. Seeing Lisa's behavior, Jennie was terrified. Lisa brought her face closer to Jennie's and slurred, "I can see that you are beautiful but that does not mean you can take Karina's place. I don't know where she is right now but once I find her, you will be out from this house in no time!". To which Jennie replied, "There won't be any need for that, cause once Karina returns, I will happily leave this house but remember, right now in front of the whole world, I am your wife."

Jennie's words ticked Lisa off and because she was not to her senses, she didn't realize what she was doing. Lisa was trying to force herself on Jennie and seeing Lisa's behavior, Jennie was petrified. She pushed Lisa and dashed out of the room looking her inside. She was drowned in tears as she reached the living room. She was scared out of her wits and because of which she was crying profusely to such an extend that she could not breath. Just in someone from behind touched her shoulder. Covering her face while shaking like a leaf. "Who... who is it?" Stamerred Jennie.

It was Mr. Manoban.

Seeing Jennie terrified, he asked, "Jennie, what's the matter? Why are you so scared?... Come, sit...sit here" Saying this he asked Jennie to sit in the couch and went to get a glass of water. As he returned with water in his hand, he offered  it to her and asked, "Here, drink this... Tell me what happened." That's when he noticed the bruise on Jennie's hand, he said, "What happened to your hand? How did you hurt yourself?"

Due to all the upheaval caused by Lisa earlier, Jennie had injured herself. Jennie whimpered and told Marco everything about what just happened. Listening to Jennie, Marco was enraged. He comforted her by petting her head, and said, "I am sorry dear, It is my fault. If I hadn't convinced you to stay here, you would not have gone through this. I am going to knock some sense into Lisa tomorrow, I promise." Seeing Marco's anger, Jennie stopped him from saying anything to Lisa.

Marco felt bad for Jennie however he was surprised to see her protecting Lisa regardless of her unforgivable actions. He looked at Jennie fondly ang expressed, "Jennie, I know that it's not your fault for the way things are rigth now. If you even for a bit think of me as your father please listen to me. It's high time that you have to make Lisa realized that you are the only one for her, and now it's up to you to make her aware of the fact that you are her wife."

After some talked, Jennie went to sleep in the quest room as she was still scared of going back to her room. However, she could not sleep that nigth as Marco's words kept weighing on her mind.

The next day, as Lisa woke up, her head was throbbing in pain due to the severse hangover of last nigth. She suddenly realized that she was in Jennie's room. Holding her head with her hands, she tried to recollect last night's events. Slowly, she remembered everything however she did not feel ashamed of her actions. She went to her room, got changed, and came out. Jennie saw her and stopped right where she was. Noticing Jennie's scared demeanor, Lisa walked up to her and arrogantly said, "After last night you must have realized what migth happen to you if you try to replace Karina. I am sure you would think twice before referring to yourself as my wife. It's better for you to back off now."
