"You've taken a grave risk by coming all the way here to interview me about this," Kiyoshi stated.

He and Nitsuke were in Felora, currently in a small bar on the forest floor. Kiyoshi was one of Felden's finest army captains, but he seldom wore his uniform in public, mostly to avoid attention.

"Things have been risky for me lately, so it's no surprise," Nitsuke answered. "But now that I'm here, I believe it's your turn to answer the questions, sir."

Kiyosh's eyes narrowed. However she managed to find out about his identity, he did not know.

"Is my identity going to remain anonymous in the publication?" Kiyoshi asked, and Nitsuke gave a thumbs-up.

"I won't refer to you by name," She responded.

"Fine," He sighed.

She opened her laptop, looking up from the screen to face him.

"The elections are drawing near," Nitsuke began. "Regions all over Ardonia are picking sides, and things are getting more turbulent by the week."

"Hmm."

"What do you think reflects Felden's stance?"

Kiyoshi nodded, thinking of a response. Anything, that is, which would not get him killed.

"Felden is kind of tricky," He said finally. "It's one of the few place where support is mixed."

"How so?"

"Most of the wealthier humans and businessmen here are big supporters of Diamond Heights," Kiyoshi started. "Although they are outnumbered, they do have the majority of the electoral vote in Felden." He glanced out the window. "Then there's the native Felinas and the farmers, who all support the CPRU."

Simple as that, and yet, all the more complicated.

"Which side do you think is the right one to pick?"

Kiyoshi narrowed his eyes, leaning forward towards her.

"You had better not be recording this," He murmured, a bare whisper.

Nitsuke turned her laptop to show him the screen. All she had been doing thus far was typing out their conversation on a word document. He nodded, his eyes glancing back and forth between Nitsuke and the laptop.

"Does that help?" Nitsuke asked, and he nodded.

"Now-" He began, but was interrupted as a man suddenly entered the room. "What is it?"

Nitsuke nearly hissed in annoyance. Kiyoshi had to contain himself from smirking. There was something cute about this Felina girl with her circular glasses showing irritation.

"Sir," The waiter began. "You forgot to pay for your drink-"

He fell silent when Kiyoshi handed him some coins. The captain gestured to him to leave the two of them alone for a few minutes, and the man obliged. He backed out of the room slowly, leaving Kiyoshi and Nitsuke alone.

"Now," Kiyoshi began softly, leaning very close to Nitsuke. "I personally am against the Diamond Heights government, primarily because I want Felden to regain its autonomy."

"What do you think is the solution for said autonomy?" Nitsuke asked in a whisper, glancing towards the door in case anyone was there.

"A call to arms," Kiyoshi said.

Nitsuke typed for a few seconds before making full eye-contact with Kiyoshi.

"You know, there are other regions where revolution is brewing," She began. "Have you considered seeking them out?"
