My phone notified me, it was a text from my Mother; it was the House's address that I was supposed to live in. 6494 Rowview Avenue, Ylury. I was unfamiliar with the roads, soon arriving at our supposed House, it was more than I expected. The place was fantastic; even at night, you could see how well-lit the place was.

I slowly entered the place; seeing that no one was around, I started to tour myself around the House. I reached the bedrooms, the baths, swimming pool, spa and other necessities that I did not expect to be there. Just how much did Luigi pay for this stuff.

In Oaks, a newly reimagined and beautifully contemporary four-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home with modern custom finishes and elevated details. A spacious chef's kitchen with updated appliances and quartz countertops peaked 13-foot ceilings with plenty of natural light.

All included are three guest bedrooms with luxuriously appointed bathrooms and an expansive primary suite with a walk-in closet and dual-sink bathroom. Throughout, there is sleek natural Oak wood flooring and custom cabinetry and several accent walls with decorative wood cladding or specialty wallpapers.

To add more to it, a large covered lounge area with surround sound, a pool and spa, and an extra-long driveway, all of which are fully enclosed and private with mature landscaping. Surround sound speakers, home audio, and video surveillance are all part of a home automation system. Easy access to freeways and centrally located in one of Ylury's most desirable neighborhoods.

Opening the last door, I could feel that this room would be his; as usual, it had minimalistic designs, the room also smelled like him. How long had he been here? The other day, he was at his friend's House. Does this mean that this House is all brand new? I shook my head and walked out of the room, making my way towards the kitchen.

I was about to get a cup of water because I felt tired roaming around the House; I heard the doorbell ring. I walked towards it, slowly opening the front door and saw Luigi but what I did not expect was Mother being with him.

I stood frozen, "What are you doing, Sun Hee? Open the door, do you not want us inside?" Mother snickered, which made the man chuckled, "No- I just didn't expect that you'd be here given the time, it's almost midnight, Mother," I replied, opening the door widely.

"Why are you here, Mother?" I questioned, walking beside her as we made our way to the living room. "Never mind me, also, the both of you," She looked at us, exchanging glances.

"Do you still know or remember each other? Sun Hee, he's Luigi, well, I guess, he's Ludwig now," She scoffed, "I barely recognized him, you grew up well, seeing you big and tall makes me feel old."

"Going back, don't mind me, you should catch up and talk, you haven't seen each other for the last two decades, right?" Mother added, "Sunny, it's nice to see you again," Luigi acted as if nothing had happened between us.

No, Mother, I have seen him at the party and even vented my feeling on him; the most likely thing I want to do right now is to bury myself six feet under. We faced each other, looking at ourselves.

"Yes, long time no see," I forced a smile on my face, "Is the House to your liking, if not we can choose something that suits your taste, I apologize for not asking you about the House," I crossed my hands.

"Luigi, this house is not bad, it surpassed what I've seen from the others, it can definitely House the both of you," Mother retorted, "Yes, I agree," She looked at me with piercing stares, with no choice, I went with her answer.

We just met and had dinner; I also learned too much about him; how did we come to this? My mind still could not process that he was my childhood friend with whom I grew up.

"That's great, I was worried that you won't like it, I'm happy to hear that," He smiled back, "Also, why did you bring Mother here?" I turned to him, questioning.

"What why? She is your Mother, Sunny. I want to show the House to her, to ensure that her daughter won't be mad, that she will eat, sleep and live well with me around," He looked at Mother, the two started laughing with me having an annoyed expression, "It's your first time here, it's good to know that you didn't get lost. I was anxious that you would take the wrong turn," He worriedly looked at me.

"We were supposed to go home together, but your Mother called me and asked to be brought here to see how we will live from now on," My forehead creased, "Of course, I will call you, if you went with this girl, it would be likely that I won't be here right now, she hates my presence the most in this world," She gestured, whispering to the man.

"I can hear you, Mother. I can hear it all," She smirked, "That would be great,"

Luigi then spoke between us, "Mother, please make yourself at home. You don't need to worry, also, I would love it if you can visit often. Sunny and I will sort things out, I know that it would be nice living here," He uttered, "If you need anything, please don't hesitate to tell me," He clasped his hand together, looking promising in front of Mother.

"Thank you, Luigi. Your Mother and Father really taught you well, unlike this woman, no matter how much lessons I pound into her head, she does not care at all," She complained, "Mother!" My tone raised, their attention darted to me.

"All right, all right, I know," She rolled her eyes, shaking her head in a disappointed way, "I will take a shower first and change, please excuse myself, you can talk first," Luigi stood up, leaving us alone.
