"Make a wish, Luigi, Sunny," The boy's Mother uttered, "Before blowing the candles out you need to make wish if you want any of your wants to come true,"

Three people sat in the dining in a simple celebration of the children's birthday. "I'll be first," The boy raised his hand, "All right, now make your wish, Luigi,"

He slowly closed his eyes, clasping his hands together, "I want to grow up quick so I can marry Sunny," His wish made the Mother laugh so hard, "Why are you laughing, Mother? You told me that only grown ups can marry each other," She slowly patted his head.

"Yes, that's why you have to wait before the two of you grows up big and tall. That would be enough for you to marry," She smiled, "All right-" Luigi could not finish his statement when the girl stood up with her fists formed into a ball.

"I will not get married," She uttered, with her head lowered, "Not with Luigi or anyone!" Her voice raised.

The boy had tears starting to well in his eyes, "Sunny," He called out, but to no avail, she did not care, "I do not want to be like my Mother, she's always crying because her husband left her,"

The girl took a deep breath and raised her gaze, revealing a crying face, "That's why I would never get married until my last breath," She swore, "Sunny," He called out again, but it was too late, the girl already left.

Remembering what happened that day made Sunny laugh; why does she need to get married? However, right now, she was standing in front of everyone else, wearing a wedding dress. "Miss Sun Hee Kim are you willing to accept Mister Manuel Peris as your-" Even the priest could not finish what he was saying when the man suddenly interrupted, "Let's break up," He uttered.

There were gasps heard in the hall, "What do you mean, Manuel?" She questioned, in shock at what he heard; they were already in front and were about to exchange their vows. Would it make sense for a couple to break up on the day of their supposed wedding? "Manuel!" The man started to run off.

"Are you out of your mind? Why? Is there something wrong? Why are you doing this?" She asked the man with unending questions. "Why?"

He stopped in his tracks and looked at the woman, "I don't want to be with you," Sunny slumped into the ground, "Let's get this over with!"

She has never been an attractive girl, never lived the life she wanted, and never had been loved the way she wanted. When she goes out to meet others or hang out with her friends, all she can think about is how her love always leads to giving up. Nothing could make her feel better, no matter how she adjusted to society.

Now here she was, in front of her fiancé's apartment, banging the door to let her in, "Manuel!" He called out, "I know that you're in there, open the door, let's talk this out, please," She pleaded.

"If you're dissatisfied you can just say it, I will change myself," The situation was making her mad, "Sunny, go away!" He yelled back, trying to drive her off.

"I don't want to see you again," He said. Even so, his last words made her felt all right. "I understand," She replied. The world is cruel even if you sit highly at the top, but it is also beautiful; even so, she never gives in to it.

Slowly walking back to her apartment, she did not care even if she was walking in her wedding dress; people talked about her as she walked. She just thought this must be her punishment because of her wish.

"I will not get married," Memories drifted in her mind, "You poor child, Sunny," She mumbled to herself. Trouble always finds her.

A little boy slowly closing his eyes, clasping his hands together, "I want to grow up quick so I can marry Sunny," His wish made the Mother laugh so hard, "Why are you laughing, Mother? You told me that only grown ups can marry each other," She slowly patted his head.

Where could that man be right now? Is he still living? She laughed at her thoughts; why would she be reminded of that man after years of abandoning her? It was an unusual thought that made her feel strange.

Never once was she reminded of him as years flowed, her memories the boy was buried deep in her heart not to let anything flow out since he was part of the past she tried to escape and run from. After working herself to the bone, she became the chief editor at The Bulletin three years after her heartbreaking wedding. Sunny was able to stay in shape by keeping track of what was going on both inside and outside the Land.

That is when her thoughts gave in and transformed into someone completely different, allowing her to face her path and the people around her head on once more. It was not an easy feat, but it was well worth it. Like magicians who could make any object vanish in a split second, she transformed into the woman she desired and admired, causing others to look up to her.
