"I've been there, and I suggest you shouldn't go through the same pain I went through," He did not speak after, not until a few seconds, "You will meet that person," I looked back with a questioning expression.

The man heaved a sigh and walked towards me, "I assure you, that person will be that someone who will love and treasure you for all their life," I shook my head, "Will that person still appear, or does that person even exist?"

"They exists," He said, as he stood beside me, "If so? They must be taking their time. I know people they come and go? Even so, why does- not even one stays?"

"I waited for years, experienced heartbreak after another heartbreak. If I knew that this would happen all along, I would've stayed as I was, I shouldn't have dated and planned my future with them," I continued, "It's just as you said, they're taking their time, they must be lost along the way, but that person will eventually find you, you are their home, the safe place,"

"However, making someone acknowledge their feeling is much longer than waiting for that person," His statement made me gaze deep into his eyes, "You speak as if you experience everything," I chuckled, easing the awkward tension.

He then walked back to the cooler; another compartment revealed a box, "What's that?" He slowly opened the cover and appeared a cake, "What is the cake for?" He smiled and lit the candle.

"It's my birthday," He stated, leading me to be surprised, "What a coincidence, it's also my birthday," Suddenly, a memory flashed into my head, making me chuckle.

"Why, is something wrong?" I scoffed, "I just remembered someone from the past, we always celebrate it together since we have the same birthdays. However, we're total opposites,"

"He comes from a good family while I am from the shambles," I bitterly smiled as I reminisced. "Before blowing the candles out you need to make wish if you want any of your wants to come true," Somehow, the phrase felt familiar.

"You're the one who bought the cake, you should be the one to wish, I don't believe in wishes anymore," His forehead creased, "Why?"

"I stopped wishing about because I know that there's no way it will come true unless you put your effort and do it yourself," I narrated, "You should wish," I pushed the cake to him.

He then nodded and closed his eyes, blowing the candle, "What did you wish for?" I asked; he looked up at the sky as I observed him, "I wished that the person I love will also love me back," His gaze fell on me.

As the night grew, I could feel that I was starting to feel sleepy as we continued to feel the wind's cold breeze, "I should probably go home," I was the first one who spoke, "Hop back in, I'll take you home," I had no choice but to oblige, I do not have the rights to be picky when he has the one with the car.

The pair got inside the man's car, Luigi immediately drove off, "How is it? Did you like it?" He questioned, "It was fun, I didn't think that there would be a chance where I can express those emotions again," Sunny narrated, leaning on the window.

"Thank you very much," She subtly smiled at the man, "I figured out that it would be a waste to not go there on such a great night. The place was brighter with the full moon out," He explained.

Amadeus Luigi Aosta, better known as Ludwig Ferreiro, at a young age, is already known in the field of business and finance in terms of his performance and skills. He is now the executive director at Entre Holdings, a renowned finance company all over the media and news.

With his addition to Entre Holding, he attracted several customers, either Nobles or Citizens. Some even travel across lands because they need a consultation from the famed financier. He always gets the attention of other people.

"Where do you live?" Since she was taking a long time to reply, Luigi looked at the woman and saw that she was already fast asleep, "Even before then and now, you still haven't changed, Sunny," He tucked her hair to the side.

Luigi did not know where she lived; he could not trust leaving her in a hotel or waking her up when she was in a deep sleep. The man decided that it would be best for her to sleep in his house. It was the safest decision rather than leaving her.

He drove straight to his house; as he parked the car at the front, he left the car and got a blanket. Sunny was always a deep sleeper; she would not wake up even if an earthquake happened.

He carried the woman in his arms and brought her to his room, gently laying her down. He lived in a standard home, not some fancy mansion or a modern house that could house an extended family.

He took a shower while he called over someone to dress the woman; as he finished, Luigi saw how comfortable she lay in his bed. Even her subtle breathing felt like music to his ear. He thought to himself that if he was dreaming, he would not want to wake up.

Drying his hair and changing into sleeping clothes, he lifted the blanket and laid in the bed beside her. He faced the side where he saw the woman. Their face was an inch apart; he raised his hands, brushing away her hair away from her face.

It was a sight that he wanted to be imprinted on his mind forever; even the sight of her felt too good to be true. He caressed his face like a touch of a newborn baby. She was too soft.

"Sunny," He called out her name, leaning closer as he kissed her forehead, "Please let us stay like this, just a little longer," He mumbled.
