With heels clicking across the floor, my secretary stood up, greeting me, "Good Morning, Miss Kim," I only raised my arm, "Happy Birthday, Sun Hee," My mother wished me on the phone.

"Do you want me to set you up for a blind date? I know a man with good background, they look better in the paper than any guy you have dated before," She uttered; I know that this conversation will eventually lead to this, "Should I schedule you to visit a temple, a shaman recommended me one that works especially well for marriages," I heaved a deep sigh.

"Mother, I suggest we stop talking about marriages, also, I do not believe in shamans, I do not have anything that I want at the moment," I bluntly said to her, "Also, I arrived at my office, I will call you later after work ends," I immediately ended the call, if I hear anymore, she will continue to persuade me to go to one.

As I placed my things, someone knocked and entered my office, "Miss Kim," I looked up and saw Lina Montemayor, my secretary. "Yes?" I responded.

"I greet you a happy birthday however-" She was hesitant to tell me, "Spill it out, I don't care whether it's my birthday or not, I need to take care of the matter at hand, this is just another ordinary day for me to tell you," I rolled my eyes and faced her.

"We have received a report that our target guest would show up at Celssiolite Bauble collection launch this evening," My brows furrowed, "Who?" I asked, sitting down.

"The special guest that we wanted to interview for the year end event, the famed financier- Ludwig Ferreiro. He just came back to Ylury." She narrated, "Now that he's here, he is now the executive director at Entre Holdings,"

I looked at the given files as she continued, "The question is, did he agree to accept our interview?" With my eyebrows raised, I looked at her, "Well, since he rarely accepts interviews even when he was away, he rejected to be interviewed, even numerous big name magazines in other Lands tried to interview him but they were all rejected," She looked at the side as her fingers fidgeted.

I then laughed out, making Lina question, "He sounds arrogant, but that's the type of man I want, hard to get," I scoffed and turned around, "If he accepts our interview, our sales will rise basing from his influence in the field,"

"Can you persuade him over, Miss Kim?" I smiled, "Of course, if he was just a man who worked with any magazine line, then he's not worthy by the name of The Bulletin. We need to get his permission,"

She handed me an invitation from the jewelry company, "Is the information about his attendance to the party verified?" I questioned as my fingers tapped at the table, "Yes, Miss Kim. The President of the company, Mister Tristan Emmanuel Savoia is friends with Mister Ludwig Ferreiro."

I gave thoughts, "Dress up and join me for tonight's event, here says table for two. I will go there, it would also be a good opportunity if we can also get Mister Savoia's interview," I turned to her, giving back the invitation, "It's like killing two birds with one stone, however, our main goal tonight would be Ludwig Ferreiro,"

"Understood, Miss Kim," She bowed, "You can take your leave,"

The evening, the party immediately started after the President introduced a new collection featuring several gemstones from the east; as expected, there were models, celebrities, and even business owners.

"Miss Kim," Carmen Prado, an A-list celebrity that we once interviewed, called out to me, "Miss Prado, you look as beautiful in sight," I complimented her, she chuckled.

"Thank you, Miss Kim. You do not know what you brought to me just because of the interview, another one of my movies is coming out as a valentine special, I will personally invite you to the premiere night," She held my hand, "I would love to see you act once again, I will definitely go," I smiled.

We displayed her on the front page of our last issue; it garnered much attention to the public that producers and directors started to sign her up. I never thought that an underrated celebrity would shine this bright.

As our conversation continued, I heard one from afar, "Mister Ferreiro, I am glad you finally came back," It caught my attention, "Please excuse me for awhile," I told the Ladies and went to where the voice was. Since the piano piece resonated across the hall, they must be walking since it disappeared when I looked around.

I expected that there would be many guests present, but not this many; this would give me a hard time in finding Mister Ferreiro; just as the night could get any worse, I heard someone calling out for me.

"Sunny?" That voice- I instantly turned around to confirm if he was really the man behind the voice, "It really is you," He wore a shocked expression on his face.

"Manuel Peris, it must have been a long time that you look much more like a jerk now compared to before," His charms no longer work on me; I completely moved on from him, "Do you have to say it like that? We haven't seen each other for three years," I ignored him and continued to walk away, but he grabbed me; I pulled away and looked at him.

"Then how should I say this? I am glad to finally see you after breaking up with me at our wedding day," I sarcastically said with a smile on my face, "Let's talk first, Sunny," He said to me.

"No, I swore not to get involved with you ever again, please read the space, I am uncomfortable with you around," I explained, "Please don't bring up a conversation with me ever again, you said so yourself that you don't want to see me. I am currently at work, please don't involve personal matters."
