George Pov:

I can't believe Nick tried to pull that crap in the tavern. I have no clue what his problem was? What is wrong with today? I should just sleep on it for now, I yawn the thought of taking a long nap filling my mind. Everyone always tells me I sleep too much, but at this point to hell with them. The bed was practically calling my name. I looked over to Puffy, "Hey Puffy do you have any open rooms?" I question, eager to get my sleep on. Puffy frowned "Unfortunately, no we don't. All the rooms were booked early this morning, sorry George." I let out a long annoyed sigh. Great, now I have to find somewhere else to sleep.

Then suddenly I feel someone gently place a hand on my shoulder causing me to quickly turn my head, Dream. "You seem tired my dear. We should probably find you a place to stay before midnight. What do you think?" His voice was soft and charming, making me feel strangely calm. I looked at Dream feeling a little light headed my exhaustion suddenly getting the better of me, why am I suddenly so tired? A few seconds ago I was just a little sleepy and I now feel like I'm about to pass out from exhaustion. My mind quickly became clouded, making me lean onto the bar holding my head.

"Something is... not, r-right." my voice was weary and soft, what is wrong with me? Is this magic, did someone cast a spell on me?! Panic began to seep into my blurred mind, no way someone casted a spell I would have seen it or herd it at least, right? "Oh my, are you alright my dear? You seem rather dazed." I felt Dream's breath next to my ear causing a shiver to run down my spine, and instead of answering I simply nodded no longer able to form words. I saw him give me a pleased smile, placing his free hand on my cheek forcing me to look up at him.

"Don't worry my dear, you won't have to move a inch. I will be more than happy to help you. Would you like that George?" I twitched slightly as I felt him run his thumb across my bottom lip. I nodded and hummed softly, completely unaware of what I was agreeing to. Suddenly I felt his hand move from my cheek to my legs as I was lifted up into Dream's arms. I wanted to hold onto him but I could barely move a muscle. I eventually gave in to my exhaustion, letting my body relax into a deep sleep.

I soon came back to my senses, the feeling of cool silk sheets against my skin greeting me as I woke. My eyes fluttered open, the light of the rising sun shining through an opened window. Where am I? I took a moment to stretch to help my body wake up with my mind, before slowly sitting up to get a better look at my surroundings, and my eyes widened at what I saw.

This room looked like it was worth more than my entire livelihood! How the hell did I get here? I barely remember anything from last night at the tavern, shit. I still feel a little light headed. "Good morning Mr. Davidson!" I nearly jumped out of the bed when I heard a woman's voice to my right. I looked over to see a young woman with pastel pink hair, blue eyes, and a pair of round glasses. She had a cart in front of her with a crystal pitcher of what seemed like orange juice, and a silver cloche.

"What-" I tried to get a word out but as soon as I opened my mouth, the woman ran right up on me startling me. "Don't worry Mr. Davidson! My name is Niki, and I'll be your maid for this lovely morning.". Niki gave me a kind smile while placing a tray on my lap, removing the cloche to reveal the most delicious looking meal I have ever seen in my life. I was practically drooling looking at the golden eggs, fresh fruit, and slices of cinnamon dusted toast.

Niki grabbed the pitcher and filled my empty glass with orange juice, "I hope you enjoy your breakfast! I will be right outside if you need anything." I paused as Niki left me alone in the room. I ran my hand through my hair and looked back down at the plate of food, what is that? Poking out from under the plate, was a note. I quickly grabbed it.

Good Morning George,

I hope you slept well. Last night at the Sleepy Lamb you fell rather ill, I did my best to find a place for you to rest and recover. I hope this Inn is to your liking, I did my best to find an Inn that would give you the best treatment possible. I will be waiting downstairs for you until you are feeling better. See you soon my dear.
