DreamXD Pov:

As soon as George turned his head, I teleported far away from the city. Leaving my human in the capable paws of my familiar.

I needed to get away. Far away. I knew I was only moments away from snapping. He was always told he had a bit of a temper.

Oh my dear little human. You have no idea how hard it is to not strangle your little insignificant 'friends'.

Well maybe strangling them is too kind. I could rip off their limbs and watch them bleed out like pigs. No, no no. I should throw them into the freezing waters up north, and watch them drown! No, absolutely not, that's too peaceful. Oh, I should throw them off a cliff with jagged rocks below. Now that would be a show!

It would be so easy…

But alas, if I did that my darling human would never forgive me. I would lose him. Then all of this would be for nothing.

All of this… for nothing…

Anger began to boil within me, spreading to every inch of my body.

I have to have him. I'm not going to let him slip between my fingers, just because a few worthless mortals got in my way!

In a fit of rage I summoned a ball of hot green flame. Launching it at the nearest tree, scorching it on contact.

The burning and cracking of wood rang throughout the forest. Followed by the shocked cries of animals as they flee the area.

Taking a deep breath I run a hand through my hair. What am I doing? Why am I even worried, I haven't lost! Not yet. I still have time.

I had set up a dimension door in the city leading to my plane. As of now that's where George is headed.

If Patches stalls for me. I should have plenty of time to do some personal research. Which I've been wanting to do for some time now.

I glanced up at the burning forest before me, the fire started to spread. The divine flame eating through the life of the forest with extreme ease and efficiency. Giving off thick plumes of smoke into the clear sky.

With a sigh, I decided to summon a rain storm to prevent any further damage. With that storm clouds quickly rolled in; little droplets of rain became a downpour in seconds.

The flame reluctantly dies, fighting the rain every step of the way. Revealing a patch of completely charred forest.

What a waste of energy…

I huff, annoyed. I need to get to the Spectral Library.

I teleport into the inside of the building where the dimension door resided. Glancing around the room looked exactly the same. Just as old and dusty as I had found it.

Not really my taste, but I had to go to be as discreet as possible.

The door opened for me almost instantly. I walked through entering the bathroom to one of the guest rooms.

I didn't waste any time setting up the room. Using my magic to pull items from drawers and cupboards, setting them down where they were needed.

I summoned a piece of parchment and plucked a loose feather from my right wing. Just to write a little note for George when he arrives.

I found an ink well on the desk in the bedroom, and started writing. When it was done, I placed it under a towel on the side of the bathtub.

Then I ordered some spirits to whip up a dress for the human.

I was going to get him to wear a dress whether he liked it or not. Just picturing it in my head was enough to have me eagerly awaiting for the humans' arrival.
