Spencer sat there, his face stuck In place. All his plans of not to getting stuck in the same mess he was in three years ago went out of the window.

"Hey babe." Olivia watched him kiss Amara, her heart slowly breaking at the sight.

"Me and Liv worked stuff out," Amara gave a sweet smile.

"Oh. I'd thought—" Spencer cut her off with another kiss.

"It's nothing to worry about."

Nothing?

Olivia felt her eyes water. Wow. He'd done it again, oh how Spencer James never failed at breaking her heart. Grabbing for her belongings, she prepared to leave without a word.

"It was nice seeing you, Olivia." Olivia couldn't look at either of them.

"Afraid I can't say the same."

She strode towards the door, tears now falling. And Spencer gave Amara a look. She nodded and he headed after Liv.

"Liv." She turned to him, her face full of anger.

"Fuck you!" She screamed, and he jumped lightly hating the sight of her crying. This felt like a repeat. And Olivia started to think that maybe things would never look up for them. It was like a burning fire that she could never put out. It just kept on burning, making her heart sting.

"I'm leaving, and I swear to god, you'll never see my face again."

"Liv stop, please!" He begged, grabbing onto her arm.

"Go to hell!" She snatched her arm away rushing to her car, as the tears ran down her face, burning her skin.

She slammed her door close, not taking a second look at him. She couldn't look into those eyes knowing all they'd ever do is break her heart. He watched her pull off, his eyes watering.

He'd done it again. And this time there was no going back.

"Sash!" Olivia shouted as soon as she walked through the door.

"We're leaving—" her voice was stopped by moans.

"What the—" she whispered to herself as she crept around the corner.

"Oh my god!" She shielded her eyes from the sight of her best friend and her brother going at it.

"Liv!" She heard Sasha pant as she wrapped herself up in the sheet.

"I'm sorry, sis. I didn't know—"

Olivia interrupted him, keeping her eyes closed tightly, "Jordan get out!"

She did her best to point towards the door. She heard him gather his things quickly, then the the click of the door as he shut it behind him. She opened her eyes and glared at Sasha.

"What the fuck?!"

"I can explain."

"You got five minutes."

***
"Damn..."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because at first it started as a little harmless flirting,"

Sasha started, taking a deep breath. "Then when you were gone the other day..."

"Okay, okay! I don't need to hear anything else. I do not want to hear about you and my brother getting it on."

Olivia's eyes widened as she looked to the ground, and Sasha just chuckled lightly.

"Are you going to tell me why we all of a sudden have to leave?"

Sasha could tell that Olivia had been avoiding that conversation ever since she'd caught Sasha and Jordan.

"Spencer."

She let an tear fall, "he-he"

Sasha let out a breath and pulled her best friend close. "It's okay."

"Like I said, I'm here."
***
"You ready?" Sasha spoke softly as she came to a stop in front of Spencer's house.

"If you don't want to do this—"

"No...i want to. I want to say goodbye. Cause I promise you this is the last time he'll ever see me."

Sasha could hear the uncertainty in Olivia's voice. No matter how much Olivia tried to push this lie that she was done with Spencer for good, Sasha still didn't buy any of it.

"You love him, Liv." Sasha said just above a whisper.

"I do."

Olivia looked to the floor, "but sometimes love isn't enough."

She mumbled then looked at her again,"I can't keep doing this. I was doing good back in Vegas, Sash. Now I'm—"

"You're hurt...again. I know. But maybe talking to him-" Olivia interrupted her, her voice being tight and hard.

"No."

"I'm not talking to him about anything. I'm saying goodbye. And that's all."

"Liv if you're so hurt over all this, why would you even want to say goodbye?"

"Because..."

"Like you said," Olivia faced the front, staring out of the front window, her voice was low.

"I love him."

"I probably always will. But life was better before all this. I need it to go back to the way it was. When It was somewhat...peaceful."

She stopped for a breif second, until she whispered the words, "back when I'd forgotten about Spencer James."

Sasha looked at her friend, her eyes filled with sorrow. Honestly, she could somewhat understand where Olivia was coming from. If she hadn't realized anything else from Liv and Spencer's situation, she'd learned that they both ran off when stuff got hard, and in any situation the only thing they'd care about was making the people around them happy, instead of choosing to be happy themselves.

"Okay." Olivia sighed and gathered all her strength.

"I think..."

"I think I'm ready."

Sasha stopped Liv before she could get out of the car. "I need to say something first."

"What is it?"

"After you do this..."

"You need to actually forget about him. No more weeping in a corner because you miss him. None of that. You need to forget about Spencer James completely. Just like you said you wanted."

Sasha was giving Olivia a choice, because she knew deep down that Olivia didn't mean any of these words she was spitting. She wanted Olivia to be certain that this was actually what she'd wanted, though, Sasha knew very well that she wasn't.

From the start, Olivia had been saying that she was only coming to LA to comfort her family and attended her farther's funeral, only to fall back in love with Spencer James. Only to get pulled back into his grasp slowly. Sasha knew Olivia loved Spencer. And she knew that Spencer loved Olivia. But running away was like a sport for them...and she was starting to think that they'd never retire from that sport.

"Done." Olivia couldn't meet her eyes. And before Sasha could speak another word, Olivia left the car and prepared for her goodbye to Spencer.
