That night I tossed and turned unable to sleep. I eventually got up and made my way to the kitchen. I had just finished making myself a cup of tea when I heard someone coming down the stairs. I was expecting it to be Molly or even Ron coming for a midnight snack. But it wasn't. It was George.
"I thought I heard you get up." He leaned against the door frame. Heard me get up?
"How? Your room is on an entirely different floor." I was confused. He shrugged and sat down at the table across from me.
"I was up, lying in bed awake." He laughed a bit. I nodded and took another sip of tea. He smiled and walked towards me, and placed his hands on either side of my face. He pressed his lips to mine gently. I kissed him back. He lifted me onto the counter and I wrapped my legs around him. He began to kiss down my face to my neck. A shiver went up my spine and I gently tugged on his hair and brought his lips back to mine. We heard the stairs creek, making us freeze. Ron walked in, riffled through a cabinet, grabbed something and left. Never noticing we were there. When I heard his bedroom door shut, I let out a breath I had been holding in. That was a close one. I pulled away from George, and jumped off the counter. I took a sip of tea, and George didn't say anything.
"We shouldn't do that again. Next time it could be your mum." I spoke softly, he nodded at my words. I sat down and he sat opposite of me.
"We should go back to bed." He grabbed my hand and led me upstairs to Ginny's room. "I love you." He kissed the top of my head and went to his room. I smiled to myself and climbed back in bed, and promptly fell asleep. I woke up the next day, the sun was shining through the window. I could hear Molly yelling downstairs at the boys. I looked over, Ginny was just starting to get up as well.
"Goodmorning." She smiled towards me.
"Good morning Gin." I smiled back and sat up in bed. I heard a crash downstairs and Molly yelling even harder. I cringed and Ginny laughed.
"Sounds like home." She got out of bed and started to dress. I began to do the same. I made my way to the bathroom and did my hair. i walked downstairs when I finished and took a seat next to George and Ginny who were already eating. Molly handed me a plate.
"Good morning Ellora, how did you sleep?" She asked before swatting Fred for bothering Ron.
"Good, thank you." I began to eat as well, enjoying her cooking. Breakfast was normal, the boys joking around. Nothing out of the ordinary really. Which was a nice. Until Arthur brought up the killings that were happening to unsuspecting muggles. We all knew who was responsible. I sighed and got up from the table when breakfast finished. I made my way back to Ginny's room, and wrote Harry a letter.
Harry,
I hope you are well. Have you heard about the killings. I am starting to get worried. I miss you and cannot wait to see you again!
Ellora
I gave it to North, who quickly flew away. I heard a cough and turned to see Fred in the doorway.
"You coming to hangout or not?" He threw a snitch at me. "You, George and me against Dad, Ron and Ginny." I smiled and threw the snitch up and caught it again.
"It's on."
