We had just made it to the bottom of the stairs when the music stopped. I looked to the door, where Professor Dumbledore and Professor Mcgonagall were standing. I cringed harder than I have ever, I knew what was coming.
"Everyone who is not a Gryffindor, head back to your common room! The Head's of your houses are waiting for you." Professor Mcgonagall's voice echoed through the room. I sighed, and gave George a kiss on his cheek.
"Good luck." I whispered, and headed off, along with others. Luna and I walked quickly to the common room, and entered. We were met by Professor Flitwick and many other Ravenclaw's. He was standing on a chair, and was still shorter than most of the boys. He was in a stripped night shirt and a matching cap. All of us could not help but giggle at his appearance.
"Stop that!" He yelped at us, we were all silent. "Now I know you went to this party in celebration of Ellora's birthday." I internally groaned. "By the way, happy birthday Ellora." He was addressing me now.
"Thank you Professor." I whispered.
"Now, do not let it happen again, or there will be punishment. Now get to bed, all of you!" With that he left. We all stayed silent for a moment, looking at each other. Did he really not yell, or lecture or punish us? After a few minutes we shrugged, and headed up to bed.

I opened my eyes to see light streaming through the window. I rolled over, to realize I was smiling. I felt the necklace weighing on my neck, and my hand shot up, holding it. Memories of last night flooded my mind as I got ready for the day. I thought of the trouble everyone got in. I was thankful that Ravenclaw was not punished, but I could not help but feel at fault. I walked quickly down to breakfast, thinking I would be met with harsh stares, but everyone seemed normal. I sighed in relief as I sat down, and was comforted knowing that no one was blaming me.
"How was your birthday?" Luna smiled, she was now sitting opposite of me.
"It was..." I thought back through the events, "...interesting." I smiled back. She began telling me about something, but I was not paying attention. I kept looking towards the door for George. Finally he walked in, and I quickly excused myself, and walked towards him. He spotted me and smiled. Before I could reach him, my track was interrupted by a tall figure. My father.
"Hello Ellora." He spoke softly.
"Hey." I attempted to go around him, but he grabbed my arm.
"Where are you going?" He knew where I was going, i shrugged my shoulders.
"Please, let me go." He took his hand away from my shoulder and swiftly walked away. I headed towards George, and he wrapped me in his arms.
"Good morning beautiful." I smiled and hugged him tighter.
"Good morning love." I pulled away, and he kissed the top of my head. We broke apart, and he headed to his table. I refused to go since the incident with my father. I headed back to mine and sat next to Sara.
"I did not know you were dating George." She looked shocked.
"Yeah, we got together the beginning of school." I gushed.
"Oh?" I looked up to see Micheal Corner, "Then why is Lavender saying he kissed her last night after the party ended." I felt my breath get stuck in my throat. I whipped my head around to see George talking to Lavender. My heart broke, he wouldn't, would he? "He is not worth your time El, you could be with me."
"Too soon!" Sara whispered violently. My eyes began to well up with tears.
"I have to go." I stood up, and literally ran out of the room.
