I opened my eyes slowly. My room was bright, and it dawned on me that I had fallen asleep. I rolled over and watched North as she slept peacefully. I sat up in bed, glancing at the clock. It was only eight. I grabbed a piece of parchment, quickly writing a letter back to Angela. I would wait until North was awake to send it. I didn't want to bother her, I have been flying her around like crazy. I was thankful that tomorrow I would be on my way back to Hogwarts. I spent the day packing my trunk and making sure everything was in order.
It wasn't until sunset that I received a letter from George. It was short, talking about how he couldn't wait to see me. I didn't write back. I would see him in less than twelve hours. I was excited to see him. Being home was lonely and uneventful. I hated being home for that reason. I didn't understand why my father wanted me home. He hasn't spent more than five minutes with me since I have arrived. Coming home was a waste of time in my opinion. There was no point in it. He ignored me and I was miserable. I sighed, I thought back to what was said about my father knowing that Voldemort's followers were going to be there, and that is why he didn't want me to go to the Cup. I honestly did not want to believe it, but I had a sinking feeling it was true.
I woke up early the next day, excited to be going back to Hogwarts. I got ready, paying special attention to my hair. I would be seeing George, I wanted to look good. I put North in her cage and looked around, making sure everything I was taking was packed. I brought North downstairs with me. Breakfast was already on the table but my father was no where in sight. I ate and read the Daily Prophet. I was really to excited to eat. I wanted to leave, get as far away from this house as possible. I heard my father coming down the stairs, my trunk in tow. I met him in the hallway. He looked me up and down, before asking if I was ready. I nodded once, he grabbed my hand and we apparated.
I opened my eyes and felt like I was going to be sick. I don't think I will ever get used to apparating. Kings Cross Station was loud. The scent of the trains filled my nostrils. It was oddly comforting. My father walked swiftly. I followed him. I ran through 9 and 10 to get to platform 9 and 3/4. The Hogwarts express was a sight for sore eyes. I heard my name being called and I turned to see Angela waving at me. I waved back and turned towards my father.
"Well, see ya at school." I spoke in a chipper tone.
"Goodbye Ellora, have a safe trip." With that he turned around and apparated. I shrugged and walked over to Angela. She was standing with Oliver and Lee.
"Hey!" She smiled and hugged me, I hugged her back.
"How was your holiday?" I asked and she began to talk, telling me about her holiday. I smiled and listened half-heartedly. I waved to Lee and Oliver who were in their own conversation. They both waved back, ended their conversation and joined ours. I heard a familiar commotion and turned to see my favorite family. I smiled and looked back towards the group. "I'll be right back."
"Have fun!" Lee yelled, making kissing noises. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the Weasleys. Harry spotted me first and walked over, pulling me into a hug.
"El, so good to see you." He mused.
"You too Harry." I smiled.
"EL!" My name was shouted and I saw Fred coming towards me. He pulled me into a hug. "I have a joke for ya." He smiled.
"Oh shut up Freddie. You have told that joke a million times. Ya aren't gettin' stale on me are ya?" George laughed, as did Fred. I grinned when he came into view. I pulled away from Fred and walked to George.
"Hey." I breathed out.
"Hey. You look beautiful." He smirked, making me blush. He pushed a stray piece of hair behind my ear, before slowly planting a kiss on my lips. A kiss that made my head spin. He pulled away, it was too quick for my liking. I said hello to everyone else and we boarded the train. I sat in a compartment with George, Fred, Angela, Oliver and Lee, as always. The train slowly pulled away from the station. We were off to Hogwarts.
