I was torn away from the view of the Hogwarts Express leaving the station by the compartment door opening. It was Lee Jordan and Oliver Wood, I smiled at them. Lee sat on the other side of George, and Oliver next to Fred. They began to talk about their summers, I drifted out of their conversations and began to look back out the window. The scenery always took my breath away. I marveled at the beauty, but soon turned back to the group as the train went through a tunnel.
"Nice of you to finally join us." Oliver joked. I laughed, and George squeezed my hand.
"What a happy couple!" Lee said between bites of a pastry. I rolled my eyes, George and I weren't a couple, right? I mean we always were holding hands and hugging. We did act like boyfriend and girlfriend. But we never labeled ourselves. I looked at George who seemed to be thinking the same thing.
"What have you blokes heard of Sirus Black?" Fred asked, changing the subject. I shot him a thankful look, he returned it with a nod.
"I reckon he's dangerous, hopefully he will not try and break into Hogwarts." Lee said, his voice wavering a bit.
"Doubt it, Hogwarts is the safest place. Even if he is after Harry." George said, untangleing our hands, and placing an arm around me.
"Harry is a magnet for trouble though, I just hope he stays safe." I voiced, I always worried of Harry. I leaned into George a bit, closing my eyes and breathing in his scent. The train screeched to a stop before I could even manage to drift to sleep. I lunged toward into Oliver's lap. I quickly pulled myself up.
"Are you okay?" Oliver asked once I had stood up.
"Yeah. I'm really sorry." Before Oliver could answer the lights flicked off. Everyone else stood up as well, opening the compartment door, looking out. The train lunged again, sending us flying back to our seats with a groan.
"What the bloody hell!" George whispered. He was staring at the window. I looked over as well. It was covered in ice. I shivered, suddenly feeling the cold in the air. George wrapped his arms around me in a protective manner.
"Shit!" I whipped my head away from the window in time to see a boney cloaked hand opening our compartment door. My body felt weak, and my mood was gone. I felt lifeless, and depressed. Like there was no happiness in the world. It took a look, and quickly left, moving on. I felt George hug me closer to him. I buried my face in his chest, wishing for this to be over.
The train started again, my head was still buried in George's chest. His hand was running up and down my back. I pulled away from him, everyone looked shook up. I just noticed that Angela joined the cart. I smiled, hugging her.
"We are going to check on Ginny." Fred and George said in unison. I nodded, sitting back down as they left.
"So, you and George?" Angela giggled. I laughed a bit, ignoring her. I couldn't confirm or deny anything. We were more than friends. But how much more? My thoughts were cut off by Fred and George coming back. I smiled as George handed me a pastry, and leaned back into him for the rest of the ride
