Chapter 16

Lexie POV
It's been a week since me and Mason made our relationship public. We both posted about it on social media and people went crazy. There has been so much love and support sent to us, even edits which were so cute. I'm not going to lie, there have been some hate comments but I'm ignoring them. Mason has told me to focus on the positive comments only. I'm not going to let them ruin my relationship with Mason Mount. I nearly lost him once, I'm not going to lose him again.

Today I'm having a girls day with Abbie. A lot of stuff has happened recently and spending time together is what we both need. I know she's excited. That's one thing I always wanted growing up, to have a sibling to spend time with, and now I have that.

We were getting ready to go shopping. Of course Abbie wanted me to do her hair and makeup after I had done mine which I was happy to do. However, we were going to be doing a Q&A on my YouTube channel first. I've been asked so many questions lately and I thought I needed a sit down and chat kind of video for my channel, so I can update everyone on my life.

"I'm so excited." Abbie beamed as I got the camera ready. "You'll be amazing as always Abs."

I started the camera and did my intro. "Hey guys, it's Lexie and today I'm here with my gorgeous sister Abbie." I motioned to her who smiled and said hi. "Today I'm going to be answering your questions. I put a question box on my Instagram and there are loads of questions from you all." I laughed slightly. "I'll be reading some of them out as well and hopefully we can find out some gossip." Abbie  winked at the camera, making me laugh.

"The first question is 'how are you both?'" I read. "I'm good. School is hard at the minute but dad says I need to keep my head down and do the best of my ability." Abbie explained. I smiled.

Abbie does struggle in school. People think because she's a Southgate she's going to be the best at everything. I keep telling her she's human, people struggle with different things and people make mistakes all the time, even as adults. She's a tough kid and I know she's going to do amazing things with her life.

"I'm a lot better. I know you all know I didn't post or wasn't active for a week or so. I had things going on in my personal life. I needed a timeout to get myself back on track." I spoke. "The next question is for you." Abbie nudged my arm with a smirk. "'Lexie, how did you and Mason get together?'" She read.

I blushed at his name.

"I got close with Mason, there's always been something about him which pulled me towards him. We ended up keeping our relationship a secret for a couple of months before announcing it to the world. We had some bumps along the way but that's normal in a relationship. I'm happy and I love him so much. He's the best boyfriend I could have ever asked for. I'm his biggest supporter at his games. He does me proud every time he's on the pitch." I gushed about the Chelsea midfielder. "I just want to add, can people not send hate towards Lex for dating Mason. She can't help that she's fallen for him and this is the happiest I've seen her in ages; it's all because of Mason. Plus they are couple goals." Abbie said which made me smile. I gave her a hug.

It means a lot to me that Abbie approves of Mason, my whole family does and that's something I'm glad about. They all get on really well which is a big bonus.

"'Did you cheat on Harvey with Mason?'" I read the next question. My stomach sunk with the thought of that name. "I did not cheat on Harvey. He cheated on me for months. I wasn't talking to or spending time alone with Mason whilst I was with Harvey. Me and Mason happened months after the split up. My relationship with Harvey was toxic and it basically ended months before we broke up. I'm not sending hate towards him at all but I am not going to be labelled as a cheater." I felt my blood pressure rise.

Abbie held my hand and squeezed it, she knew I was getting upset at the thought of what he did to me. I didn't want to show on camera how much hurt that boy put me through.

"Moving on." Abbie said, quickly changing the subject. "The next question is 'does Lexie get on with the other boys and their partners?'" I smiled knowing it was a nice question. "I love all the boys, we both do. They're our big brothers who protect us both. I get on really well with their partners, in fact I'm meeting up with them in a couple of days to have a girls day. Of course Liv is still my number one bestie but I do love the girls." I explained.

"'Lexie please release some more music.'" I read out another question. "Guys I have been writing some songs but I never release them until I know they are perfect." I giggled. "I promise I will release some though and I hope you will love them."

We answered some more questions and then we ended the video. I've had a blast with Abbie and I know she loves it when she can get involved

I love my family, I never thought I would have people like this in my life but I do and I am never going to lose them. Growing up I was lied to my entire life and my mam didn't want me but she didn't want me to live with my dad; it was toxic.

To make my life even better, I've got the best boyfriend in the world. I know Mason would see this and I hope he liked what I said about him. My life is perfect right now and nothing is going to ruin this.
