Chapter 2

Lexie POV
4 years later, I moved out of dad's house and into my own but I'm still close to my family. Abbie was gutted that I had to move out but I still see her as much as I can, and of course she stays over as well.

I'm now a success because of the hard work I put into everything. Thanks to Abbie, who posted a video of me singing on her Instagram story, people went crazy saying I needed to sing more. So I did. I posted more singing videos and I ended up getting a record deal which is crazy. I owe Abbie a lot of thanks and she never lets me forget it but I do love her.

Abbie is now a teenager which is crazy but she's the best sister I could have ever ask for. We spend a lot of time together, we're like two peas in a pod.

Dad now manages the England team. I am so proud of him. He said he will bring me to meet the boys at training which I am super excited about.

I've been dating a boy called Harvey for a year now. Dad and Alison don't like him, they think he's using me because of my name. We've argued about it a few times. I've said he's not like that. It's frustrating that they don't believe me.

Today I am meeting the boys at training with Harvey. Dad was not happy Harvey was coming along.

I can't explain how awkward the silence was in the car journey to the stadium.

We walked over to the boys who were on the pitch and all attention was on us.

"Boys I would like you to meet my eldest daughter Lexie and her boyfriend Harvey. No doubt you boys will be seeing a lot of Lexie." Dad said, looking at me with a smile.

God dad's can be so embarrassing sometimes.

The boys all said hi. The boys were nice and made me feel welcome. Harvey had went to the bathroom, he didn't make an effort with the boys which didn't surprise me.

"Boys I want to warn you that dating Lexie is not allowed." Dad warned them all. "Dad!" I said embarrassed, my face went red. "Isn't she with Harvey?" Pickford asked confused. "For now." Dad looked at me and I rolled my eyes. The boys still looked confused but they went off to train.

Out of all of the boys, Mason caught my eye. He was so attractive and that smile made me weak. I shook the thought out of my head. I'm with Harvey why am I thinking of Mason?

Mason, John and Declan were working on their techniques together so I thought I would show them what I'm made of.

I've been practicing my football skills with dad when we both have time. I love practicing as it means I can spend time with dad, he loves the fact that I'm into football.

I ran over to them and then tackled Mason, getting the ball of him and started running towards the goal. He caught on what I was doing and they ran after me trying to stop me from shooting. I had some skills with the ball and managed to score.

"That was impressive." Trippier said, after cheering for my goal. "It really was." Mason smirked, biting his lip ever so slightly.

Damn that was hot.

"What can I say? I get it from my dad." I looked over at my dad and he was proud. "Well boys I think you got more training to do if Lexie can beat you." Dad chuckled.

I got on well with all of the boys today, especially Mason. Harvey got jealous when I spoke to the boys which infuriated me. He didn't even try to get to know the boys. It's so frustrating that he doesn't try but I left him to it; I couldn't be bothered for another argument.

I had to leave early as I had a concert. I was doing a tour around Britain. It wasn't a big one, just a few shows to get my name out there in the music world more. Surprisingly all my shows were sell outs which is absolutely crazy.

"Guys I'll see you soon." I said. "Don't leave us." Kyle gave me the puppy dog eyes. "Where are you going?" Sterling asked. "I've got a concert. It's my second performance of my tour." I smiled, trying to contain my excitement.

The boys wished me luck.

"Why didn't we know about this? We would have came." Maguire said. The other boys nodded in agreement. "Sorry boys we need to train for the euros." Dad replied. "I'm sure I'll have more shows in the future." I said, reassuring them.

I said goodbye and headed to the arena.

Harvey couldn't come, he said he was busy. SHOCK! I never get an explanation to where he goes. We argue so many times about where he goes but I never get an answer. As you can imagine I am suspicious but he just says I'm paranoid... can you blame me?!
