Lexie POV
I've been back with Mason for a few days now. We're both happy we're back together. We've agreed to talk about our feelings more and not to let petty arguments get in between us.

I woke up to a pair of strong arms wrapped around me. As my eyes adjusted to the room, I realised where I was. I turned my head to see Mason sleeping. I smiled at the sleeping boy next to me. He's perfect. I gently got out of his grasp and went downstairs to make breakfast, still wearing one of Mason's tops, it's like a dress on me.

I was singing along to my music and then I suddenly a pair of arms wrapped around my waist which made me jump. "Babe, you scared me." I said, trying to calm my heart rate down. "Sorry babe." He kissed my shoulder and then turned me round to face him. "I missed waking up to you." He apologised. "I was going to stay but I wanted to make you breakfast in bed." I said, motioning to the food. Mason smiled, love in his eyes.

"What have I done to deserve you?" Mason pulled me in closer and gently kissed me. "Can you go and get the plates out, breakfast is nearly ready." I said, my fingers tracing his biceps. Mason nodded.

We were sitting at the table eating, enjoying each other's company. I've definitely got better at cooking since I moved in to my own place.

"Lex can I ask you something?" Mason asked. I nodded. "I want you to meet my parents. They're in town." He was nervous.

I felt my heart stop for a second, an anxious expression on my face. It's always scary meeting the parents. Mason had it easy as he already knew my family.

"Baby they can't wait to meet you. Especially mum, she loves your music." Mason said, taking note of my reaction. "Ok. It'll be nice to meet them." I smiled, anxiously. "Sorry for springing it on you like that. I know it's short notice." He said. "Babe it's fine. It'll be a nice evening." I squeezed his thigh. Mason grinned.

His family is the most important thing to them, I just hope they like me.

I heard my phone ring. I looked to see it was dad ringing.

"Hey dad." "Hey Lex. I just want to quickly ask if you and Mason would like to come out for a family meal? I've got a table booked." Dad explained. "Urm I'm actually meeting Mason's parents tonight. Maybe another night?" I suggested. "They can come too. The more the merrier. I mean we'll all be family at some point in the future." He chuckled. "Dad you are so embarrassing." I giggled. "Hang on I'll quickly ask Mason."

I spoke to Mason who agreed. It's best if we do as Mason can't really cook. I told dad we would do that. He told me the plan so we know where to go and for what time.

Mason dropped me off at mine before he headed to train with Chelsea boys. I decided to have a chilled day and I wrote some lyrics to a new song.

We were in the car, dad driving us to the restaurant. "Lex you look nervous." Dad spoke, glancing at me through the rear view mirror. I nodded. "It's because I am." I said, playing with my fingers, it helps me calm down. "You have nothing to worry about." Alison reassured me. "It's always nerve wracking meeting the boyfriends parents and it's easy for Mason as he knows you guys." I explained. "They'll be stupid not to love you." Abbie spoke as dad pulled into the car park.

We headed into the restaurant and I saw Mason and his family at the table. Mason grinned as I walked towards him. He stood up and kissed me, holding me close to him.

"You look incredible as always." Mason whispered. "You scrub up well." I smirked. Mason pecked my lips. "I love you." He hugged me. "I love you too." I said against his skin. Our families were beaming.

We introduced everyone and then sat down at the table. I sat next to Mason and Abbie.

So far our parents are getting on really well. Of course our dads started talking about football, what else would you expect from two football families. Mason's dad talked about how Mason dedicated all of his childhood to football and that they're so proud of him.

"I bet you were cute as a kid." I winked at the Chelsea midfielder. "Lexie you will have to come over and I'll show you the pictures I have." Mason's mum spoke. "No mum. I don't think Lexie wants that." Mason protested. I slapped his thigh. "Of course I do. I would love to." I smiled. Mason groaned knowing his mum had some embarrassing pictures of him.

"So what your plans for the future you two?" His mum asked. Mason and I both blushed. "Mum we've just got back together. We want to make memories and live our best lives. We've not spoke about that yet and I don't want to rush anything." Mason rambled on.

I knew that question rattled him. When we were talking about getting back together, we agreed to take things slow and focus on ourselves.

"We've got plenty of time to talk about our future." I kissed Mason's cheek, who then held my hand. I could see he had calmed down. "You would make some beautiful kids." Alison added. Mason's mum agreed. "We're a long way off having kids." I apologised to them. "I do agree with them, our kids will be perfect." He kissed my shoulder. I blushed.

I didn't know Mason felt like that but then again we've not exactly talked about this stuff as we want to focus on the present. Mason is right, our kids would be beautiful.

After a couple more hours at the restaurant, it was time for us to leave. Our mums agreed to meet up to go shopping and wine, and our dad's were going to go to a match together. I was going back to dad's to have a family weekend, it was long overdue; which Mason understood. Our families said goodbye to each other. It's a relief that they all got along.

Mason held me close and gently kissed me. "Tonight was perfect." He grinned. "I guess we've got to talk about our future." I giggled. "Only when we're both ready." He tucked a bit of hair behind my ear and smiled. "I love you Mase." Mason's smile got even bigger, if that was possible. "I love you too Lex, more than you'll even know." We kissed again.

"Are you sure you can't stay with me tonight?" I asked. I didn't want to leave him. "I can't sorry babe. I've got meeting with the Chelsea team all day tomorrow." He gave me a sympathetic smile. I pouted. "You're spending the weekend with your family. We'll talk when we can and when you get back, I promise you'll be all mine." He smirked. I smiled and gently bit my lip.

"Text me when you get home." Mason said and then pecked my lips again. I nodded and kissed him again before I left with my family.

Tonight was perfect. Mason's family got on really well with me and they said they will have me round next time they have Sunday dinner. Tonight couldn't have gone better.
