So it's the holidays, or the prom, or a wedding, or some other day where it would usually be a time of happiness, and socials, and pink poofy dresses all ruined because of zombies, or killers or some other thing to go horribly wrong. Well here is some tips and tricks to not end up killed, horribly maimed, or otherwise, so you don't end up looking like Carrie on Prom Night.

General

1. Be prepared to run

If you read the previous chapter 3, you will know and be aware of the benefits of not wearing heels or swapping them for something much more comfortable to wear. Either way, it never hurts to bring a pair of shoes that won't have you break an ankle when you need it most. Flats are easy to swap and can fit into most bags. of course, if you hadn't read the chapter then steal someone else shoes who don't need them anymore. Either way, get ready and set to run to safety. If it is a holiday like Christmas then do try to wear something more on the comfy side so you don't get frostbite when your running in the snow. Knowing ahead of time that you might have to run away from a town killer, alien, or other things to run and scream for the better. Usually, the big party that you are preparing to go to will most likely be where they will strike.

2. Be prepared to make anything into a weapon

It is most likely you have found yourself in a place that doesn't have weapons of the usual variety, so you must think creatively. After all, if making a sawed-off shotgun an accessory might clash with that dress you wear. Not only that it is very unlikely, but not impossible there will be conveniently placed items at the time you need them. If you do bring a weapon make sure you can conceal it, or that it is handheld. For this, I'd suggest a brick or a baton. Chairs, are usually at any kind of event, heck you can even get deadly with the decorations, or a part of your dress. Choke the killer out with your Birthday Girl sash.

3. Best to avoid Holidays in General

Now this one, you might think but how. It is best not to even get involved in said holiday rituals or festivities. Especially if your location has an urban legend that may or may not be real. Oftentimes killers tend to love the holidays, whether it is Christmas with Santa slaying or a Bloody Valentine, it is better to save the holiday festivities for the next day, not only when it is safe, but also when all the chocolate is discounted. Also when I say holiday, I use that as a general term, cause an Anniversary can be considered a holiday as well. Overall Holidays are already stressful as it is, so if you can avoid them, if not then be cautious of any dark spirits/spirits of the holiday, and study their rules. Follow them and use your skills from previous chapters. If you have read up to here, I'd say you are pretty Final girl ready.

Wedding Tips

4. If you are a Bride and Groom have an alternative plan.

Weddings are stressful as it is but imagine a zombie apocalypse happens unexpectedly to ruin your big day. It is best to talk to your partner about escape plans, or other solutions for any sort of unexpected surprise. An escape plan in general is always a good thing to talk about, and it can also test how well you two work together.

5. If you know something tell it

So let's say that you know that a bad thing is gonna happen on a specific day, it is best to let your partner know.  Not only will the news probably blindside them, but it shows a lack of trust and selfishness on your end if you say nothing. An example of this would be Ready or Not, where a husband forgets to mention that to make the wedding official the inlaws have to hunt her, and potentially kill her. You don't usually want a marriage to end in a murder, and if he would have prepared her for it before, they could have planned out how to hide properly. Also, it would prove the love they have for you, by not only telling them out of concern but also showing that you do in fact trust them.
