Teach me what it's like to smile without a hidden frown.

Teach me what it feels like to never let anything put me down.

I'm tired of always being in a sinking boat,

Rocking in the lonesomely waves, praying to stay afloat.

Teach me how to find love without the threads of hate.

Teach me how to cherish my finds without my own hate I easily create.

The water is freezing as my boat and I are pulled into the sea;

Before the water begins drowning me, I call out a plea.

Teach me that pain doesn't last forever.

Teach me that I can win against all odds, against this hefty endeavor.

The steel chains, strapped onto my ankles, sinks me down deeper;

I reach out toward the light, being eaten away by the Grim Reaper.

Teach me happiness.

Teach me ampleness.

How can I open myself without the fear of being hurt overshadow me?

How can I have open arms to strangers when I'm scared of what I can potentially see?

Teach me how to be strong.

Teach me that whatever you say isn't wrong.

I'm locked in the depths of the sea,

Forever to be trapped until I'm able to become free.
