(Present Day)
(Lex Luthor sat in his office sipping his drink)
(His phone rang and he sighed)
Lex: "What?"
The Riddler: "Greetings idiot! You have the honor of being called by The Riddler. Congratulations!"
Lex: "How did you get this number?"
Riddler: "An irrelevant question. Fortunately I've got a far smarter one for you. Riddle me this! Who at one time knew the identities of three costumed hooligans but somehow forgot that vital knowledge overnight?"
Lex: "I'm assuming you're referring to Spider-Man, Batman and...the other one."
Riddler: "Ehh!! Wrong! The correct answer was...you, Mr Luthor! But fear not! For I can help you get your memories back."
Lex: "Why would you help me?"
Riddler: "Though it pains me to admit it, you seem to be one of the extremely rare number of individuals who has an IQ high enough to slightly provide me with a worthy competitor."
Lex: "You called me an idiot."
Riddler: "I call everyone that. So..do we have a deal?"
(Lex looked out the window, deep in thought)
Lex: "...Deal."
