I am utterly distraught. For those of you that don't know this morning (March 25th, 2015) Zayn Malik announced that he has decided to leave One Direction. I am crying as I write this and I don't know what to do with myself. My brother called me ridiculous for being so sad, but I told him he wouldn't understand that he would never know the heartbreak that Directioners are going through as of this moment because he doesn't know what it's like to dedicate yourself to a band for 5 years and literally loving them with all your heart and wishing that your fave loved you as much as you love them, knowing that your dream of meeting them and your fave falling in love with you is just a fantasy but you still have hope bc you love them. I told him once he goes through that then he could complain. The thing is though I am not mad a Zayn I'm just confused. He said he would take a break from March 20th to March 28th but now three days before his break he suddenly quits the band all together? It just doesn't add up correctly I feel like something is missing, and then I saw this tumblr post that said they couldn't believe that Zayn would blindside the boys like this, based on their actions you can tell they weren't given any warning on this choice until it was too late. The other day in that picture? Liam covered Zayn's face, then later in Twitter he said he was joking, would he have done that if he knew Zayn was leaving? No because Liam is not insensitive, he's very caring. So what I wanna know is why the sudden change in course Zayn? Is this a stunt from modest! bc I'm truly curious and another thing Zayn said he is doing this to be a "normal" 22 year old, but his fiancé is still famous, and lord knows the paps will still be following him for years to come so why say that when he knows the likelihood of that actually happening. But if this is not a stunt, if this is for real then I support Zayn with every fiber of my being and pray that he is happy with Perrie and that they have a beautiful life together with cute kids that can shatter glass with their amazing voices (bc lord knows Perrie can hit some really high notes and Zayn, well Zayn currently holds the World Record for highest note ever achieved by a male).
As much as I support Zayn I'm kinda hoping this is an early April Fools joke.
