This one and the next one are both under 1000 words, but I had fun with them and that's all that matter, isn't it?

It had been felled once before, but it lies in wait for the time it can rise from the ashes once again

It bides its time between timelines, watching, waiting. Across all possible futures, possibilities, worlds, concepts, it grows stronger, little by little.

It watches as existences branch apart, flutters through to catch the expelled energy as another dissipates. The cognitive energy dispelled fuels it, sends power through its soul. Its colorful wings shudder and keep going, searching.

It needs more power. All of it was stripped away before. But it has as much time in the universe as it needs. Enough to outlive the ones who weakened it. To outlive the one who exorcised its creator. It swears revenge.

The anomaly of the world that had taken it down has centered itself, no longer creating anything for the time being. But it was only a matter of waiting until a new threat appeared. It glares at the ones who took the world from it and departs, searching for more timelines to seize.

The minority of worlds don't have anything special to it, but that is to be expected. The ones that do have events that play out differently, creating timeline after timeline, parallel world after parallel world. And when they crossover, one inevitably falls away, too.

It collects the essence of broken timelines, lingers for a few seconds, and moves on again. A minute where it is could be years in another world, so it has to move constantly to find the anomalies before anything else can claim it.

It grows in power, slowly growing bigger and bigger. Timelines form. Timelines fall. It is in the center of it all.

Its tails are shattered, the connection lost, but eventually, they will regrow. Immortality requires patience, something it has an abundance of.

The variety of worlds it has accessed to is unparalleled. Any mortal being on any one of them falls short compared to its being. It has access to the fabric of time, and a singular rip in it in any one spot, power comes rushing out to it.

The rage it feels when it had fallen once, twice, before it unlike no other. The rage hits around the timeline, and yet nothing changes. It's not strong enough yet.

It drifts between time and space faster, desperate, it needs to get stronger.

It had been felled once before, but it lies in wait for the time it can rise from the ashes once again

We never saw Phoenix Cantus get Erased, so by TWEWY logic, it's still alive.
