Creation

Originally gonna be from Sho's perspective, but then I thought about how this would look from Hanekoma's perspective and couldn't resist.

It's not every day that he gets to test his limits this much. Through his RG life, he's long since used to using his artistic creations for imprints, painting, inspiring, Imagination, and the like. Teaching better life skills to folks who need them, different art styles, trust and partnership, too.

He was not, however, used to teaching something as dangerous as Taboo Noise sigils. To a Reaper no less. A fall from grace was not what he had planned when the Game first started, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

But the creation in front of him? That was what would ensure Shibuya's survival.

He had taught the boy, a free, rebellious, and ambitious spirit in front of him about the secrets of Taboo Noise, of their creation and nature. And, to his credit, the Leo simply let out an excited snarl at the prospect of claiming the throne for himself.

He watches as the creatures of their design roam the streets in violence and hunger, and he mourns the lives that are snuffed out when their souls are consumed.

He tells himself over and over that it's for a good cause. That he's saving more lives this way. The Leo isn't interested in saving anyone with the Taboo, only in becoming more and more powerful.

Reapers and Players fall one by one. The Composer works overtime to keep his Proxy from Erasure.

The Leo starts on his next creation, a vulgar mix of Taboo and Reaper, something that could only go so well, granting the boy exponential power. The boy might even grow to be as powerful as the Composer, if done right. And that's exactly what he's hoping for.

Per his instructions, a refinery sigil is drawn out mostly out of sight in the Udagawa Backstreets. A quiet area that no one in the UG has a reason to venture out to, besides missions. And the Leo hadn't assigned one in three days.

That didn't stop the Composer and Proxy from picking up the energy spikes on the tracker he had given them with the intention of locating the Conductor. It was fine, the Composer hadn't had a long enough time in the UG to know what it was. The only Reaper still around who would have a lick of an idea was Koki Kariya. And he was too lazy to do anything about it except have his Reaper partner report it.

So the sigil goes undisturbed and ready to serve its purpose.

Except, no, this won't do at all. It's incomplete. Flawed. It can't serve a purpose of any capacity. Hell, it can't even activate.

He's about to move to correct it, but the Composer calls him away, and as to maintain the sense of loyalty, he obeys.

At the end of the seventh day, the Leo disappears in a blast that he created, the Composer fakes his demise by disappearing into a parallel world, and the Proxy is left as the only survivor, the Composer's actions leaving him doomed to play for a final round.

The opportunity to correct the sigil is open, but there are other important matters to attend to. Namely, the Outlet Pins he had created on the Conductor's request. He didn't know the exact purpose of the pins, but considering the succeeding ploy to make them the most popular trend in town, appealing to even those who don't follow the trends, he has his suspicions.

At the end of the fourth day is when he makes his move. He makes a few small corrections, swaps some characters for another, and the sigil glows, and the Leo emerges into rebirth.

He takes a step back and watches as his creation lets out a bellowing furious roar and immediately takes off in search of its target. Its very presence is loud against the city that has grown quiet in the past few days.

He can only observe the Proxy and his partner fight against the Taboo as the Composer waits to make a move. The town deafened by the forceful unifying thoughts set through the Outlet Pins.

Sanae Hanekoma sees how his creations are used and says nothing. He can only think about how his creations have betrayed those he is loyal to.

These prompt was morely about the thought that everything Hanekoma did for people that wasn't Joshua, was used to stop and/or kill Joshua.

Like, the O-Pins were used to prove to Josh that humanity could work to the same objective (not a very good plan, Megumi, but your actions were kinda justified in a way), and Hanekoma teaching Sho about Taboo Noise was done purely with the intention of getting Joshua killed if nothing else stopped him. Kinda screwed up if you think about it. Hanekoma teaching someone how to kill the kid he was the only person there for.
