Happy TWEWYtober folks. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the following 31 stories. The media above are the prompts. The image with Neku is the official prompts for this year. However, there are only 16 prompts this year instead of the usual 31 so people don't have to rush.
I want to do 31 different prompts, so I made some of my own, hence the other prompts. Wattpad won't let me put two media images, so I'll put the prompts of this fic on the next chapter. Feel free to steal these prompts as well.

Beat slams the door and takes off at a run, forgoing his skateboard for one reason; Rhyme. Between his skateboard and running, he much prefers gliding on his board. But he knows Rhyme is running after him, so he slows his pace, letting them catch up.
He's tired of running away only to come sneaking back in later after Rhyme begs him to come back for nearly an hour. Tired of having to run away from his folks. Running wears him out, too. Skating takes more concentration than running does, and it grounds him. Takes his mind off of everything. But he knows it's because it helps him run away from everything faster.
Skating is easier for him, so he prefers it to running. Running is slower than skating and a more tiresome way of traveling. He doesn't hate it though, running can be freeing. But skating is way cooler and way faster.
But then Rhyme would have to push themselves to chase him down and they don't deserve that. And Rhyme is the reason he doesn't consider dropping his board and skating away on it. He needs to take care of Rhyme, and he needs Rhyme to take care of him.
Going places on foot makes sure that Rhyme doesn't fall behind. That he doesn't leave them behind. Rhyme is small and can't run as fast as the wind can carry him.
Every time he steps outside of his house he always decides if he's skating or walking. More often than not, he decides to skate. But the question is less how is he traveling and more, is Rhyme following him. He's escaped Rhyme using his skateboard before. Well, tried to. But she always found where he was hiding out.
It became almost a routine. Beat gets into his fight with their rents about grades, attitude, blah blah blah. He doesn't pay attention to what they're bitching about these days. He runs out of the house in an attempt to get the noise to go away, as always. And, as always, Rhyme follows him out the door, running after him, telling him to wait up.
His board is tight under his arm, and as Rhyme runs to catch up and ask him to come back home and talk things out, he considers skating to the next street. He doesn't hate Rhyme. He loves them, in fact, and would do anything for them. But he doesn't want to think about home right now.
He snaps at them, in his anger, and immediately feels the regret start to build up as Rhyme deflates as they always do. This isn't the first time he's snapped at them, and Rhyme has never stopped following him because of it, so he keeps walking. Rhyme following behind him as always.
The screeching of tire wheels catch his attention. He lives in a busy city so the sound isn't unfamiliar. No, what's unfamiliar is how loud it is and how it seems to grow louder. What's unfamiliar is that Rhyme isn't following him.
Rhyme stopped running after him. Did Rhyme finally give up on him like everyone else had? He wouldn't blame them, but his little sib wouldn't do that. But Beat would certainly deserve it. Who the hell snaps at their younger sibling like that? He can practically hear his parents yelling at him.
The screeching grows louder and Beat can only see bits and pieces of the scene in front of him. Rhyme farther down the street staring at the car. The car is speeding into the sidewalk. Rhyme is in front of the car, staring in shock and disbelief.
Beat drops his skateboard and runs.
He tears down the street, topping any possible speed he's ever gone before. He wraps his arms around Rhyme as they are overtaken by headlights. He's not fast enough.
His last thoughts are that he wished he could have run faster.
