Spidi's POV:

I couldn't believe it. Were they really letting me stay??

"I'd love to!!"

I was jumping up and down in excitement. He chuckled and led me to a big house. Or at least it looked pretty big. There was a huge farm right beside it.

"Is this your house?" I looked up at Winston.

"Yeah, this is where you're gonna stay the next few days."

"Wooah.." The house was so big! Or on the outside at least. The inside wasn't as big, but I liked it! It had a pretty cool layout, there were L stairs up to a door, which led to a tiny kitchen, then there were stairs down to a huge bedroom mixed with a living room.

There was a purple bed placed in a corner, I ran down and jumped into it, hugging one of the pillows. I hadn't slept in a bed for so long. I had been traveling for two days before I met Winston. It was so soft! My eyes immediately got heavy.

I heard Winston walk down the stairs but I didn't bother opening my eyes, I was too sleepy. It didn't take long for me to fall asleep.

------------------------------------------------

The next day I woke up to the smell of waffles. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I decided to go to the kitchen. The house was already so small that there wasn't much to explore.

"Good morning Spidi," Winston said as I entered the kitchen.

"Good morning Winston," I sat down by the tiny dinner table.

"I was thinking you could help me do farming today? It's all ready for harvest," he said, settingdown a plate of waffles on the table.

"Farming?"

"Yeah! I thought it'd be a fun little activity."

"What.. is farming?" He looked at me.

"You don't know what farming is?"

"Eh, no?"

"Well, It's putting seeds in the ground and waiting for them to grow! Once they have grown we can take the grown crops and use them in food!"

"Oh! We didn't do that back at home, we always just went hunting or fishing."

After we finished eating he took me out to the little patch of dirt by the house. Apparently it's called a farm. Wow, I feel like I should've known.

He gives me a strange tool, it's a stick, with a metal bit at the top, it's called a hoe. Then he shows me how to use it to harvest wheat by swinging it at the wheat, cutting it. It's pretty hard, but I think I'm getting the hang of it! After we've harvested all the wheat he shows me how to plant new seeds.

By the time we were done it was already noon. Winston decided to take me around to do different activities with the different villagers!

We started by going to the Shepherd, his name is Jacob. He taught me how to sew a bow. It's so fun!

"Look Winston! I made a bow!" held the bow up to show him.

"Wow, look at that!" He said and picked it up to look closer at it.

"I think you should give this to Miss Bertha, she is the one who asked if you could live here after all!"

"OHH that's a great idea! Let's go!" I got up and pulled his arm. I let go and ran over to the library.

"MISS BERTHA!" I half yelled as I opened the door.

"Oh, hey Spidi," Miss Bertha turned to look at me.
