My Bias (Revising)

Chapter 19

"Manila, we're back!" Jungwon playfully uttered.

We are now back here in Manila from our short vacation back in Dakak. The salt air wind was now replaced by nothing but polluted flows. Agad kong sinuot ang sunglasses ko to prevent my eyes from contacting the strong light.

Nang makababa na kaming lahat sa eroplano ay agad kaming pumasok sa loob ng van para dumiretso na kami sa airport para kunin ang mga bagahe namin. I positioned myself at the back, near the window. I slowly stretched my hands out and leaned my back on the seat, which made me feel better. Boy, that feels good! I think I need a massage when I get home.

"Tired?" napatingin ako kay Yohan nang umupo siya sa tabi ko. I immediately fixed myself and sat properly.

"No, I'm not." I gave him an assurance smile.

Yes, pagod ako my sugar pie honey bunch.

"You're feeling well now?" It was my turn to ask him this time. He's looking great now, compared to what he looked like last night.

"Yeah... thanks to you." He leaned his back against the seat and looked at me.

I've been a fan of Eclipse for a quiet long time now. I've seen Yohan smile a lot of times already, but I have never seen him smile like this before. The smile he just gave me is such... a genuine one. It wasn't just a simple smile, his eyes were smiling too. It warmed my heart.

"D-Don't mention it.." I looked away, trying to hide the smile of my face.

I know that we've been in a relationship for days now, but whenever he compliments me or looks at me deeply, I always get shy! A smile would immediately escape from my lips, and my cheeks would heat the hell up. I just can't believe that I pulled this perfect guy that everyone dreams of!

After we got our pieces of luggage, all of us went back to our places to take a rest from the trip. Since tomorrow is the scheduled flight for Eclipse to fly back to Korea, they really have to condition their body for their own good.

When I arrived at home, I immediately went straight to my room, took a shower and clanged into my home clothes to take a rest too. Today, I don't want to do anything, but only to sleep for the whole day. Gosh, I'm tired!

I immediately positioned myself at the center of my bed, and tried to relax myself up. I slowly closed my eyes, and helping myself to sleep by subtlety wiggling my feet. Usually, by this time I will fall asleep, but for some reason I can't. Kaya bumangon na lang ako at pumunta sa kitchen para kumain. I'll just wait till I'll get sleepy.

"Uy, sir Eli, nakabalik ka na pala!" Manang Lora was very surprised to see me. "Kumusta ang Dakak?" she sweetly asked while she was cooking.

"Hello, manang!" Kinuha ko ang kan'yang bakanteng kamay para mag mano. "Oh my god, it's so beautiful there! I want us to visit there sooner. Tayong lahat!" I said and went to sit in the bar stool.

I told Manang Lora everything that was memorably fun in Dakak. Like how good their food is, the beach, and the resort itself in general. She was getting more curious as I told her the details kaya I showed her some pictures of the resort.

"Wow... ganda nga," namangha na wika ni Manang Lora.

"Diba? We really need to take a vacation there soon!" I said. They need to experience the beautiful Dakak.

"By the way, anong niluluto mo, Manang?" I asked, shifting my gaze to what she's cooking.

Hindi niya ako sinagot at sumulyap lang sa akin habang kumukuha ng pagkain sa heavy pan para ihain. When she finished plating the food, she closely went in my direction with her hands high up, causing me not to see what she's about to give me. Manang naman, eh! May pa thrilling-thrilling pang nalalaman!
