Chapter 34

"Eli, wake up."

I slowly opened my eyes when I heard Kuya Kael's voice. Without getting up, I traveled my hand under my pillow to grab my phone. When I finally grabbed my phone, I quickly checked the time, and it was still 7 am.

"Five more minutes, Kuya." I lazily said, putting my phone back under on my pillow and closed my eyes.

I heard him sighed and then a sound of a door closing registered in my ears. For a while, the room was quiet, which lead me to sleep again. But then, I heard the door open again, followed by footsteps that were coming near to me.

"Kuya, I said five more minutes—" I couldn't finish what I was about to say when I felt someone hugging me from the back.

"Wake up, sleepyhead."

I quickly opened my eyes when Yohan's deep voice registered in my ears. I slowly lift my head up and looked at Yohan's veiny arms that were wrapped around my waist. I swallowed hard on the view of it.

Oh, God... his arms are sexy.

I slowly changed my position and faced him. He was wearing a white muscle tee shirt that is revealing his biceps, pairing it with a black shorts. I was about to greet him when he suddenly stole a peck on my lips, which left me shocked. I immediately covered my mouth, and distanced myself a little bit from him.

"Good morning," he softly said, smiling.

"W-Why would you kiss me? I haven't brushed my teeth yet..." I said without looking at him. Nahihiya.

He chuckled. "What? You always smell good."

My eyes widened when he pulled me back to him, much closer this time. I slowly lift my head up to look at him and one thing that caught my attention immediately was his lips. It looked so soft and pretty. It has a natural pink color.

I want to kiss him.

I shook my head, trying to clear my mind from that thought. Oh, lord... what was I thinking? I haven't even brushed my teeth yet, and now I'm thinking about kissing him? Nakakahiya!

"I want to kiss you..." Yohan raspily murmured.

He slowly leaned towards me, making our nose touched each other's skin. I didn't move. I waited for him to kiss me first. All I can say is that I am not in my right mind right now. I felt hypnotized by his lips.

Our faces were so close to each other as well as our lips. When Yohan was about to kiss me, I silently closed my eyes and waited for his lips to press on mine, but before he could do it, something inside me suddenly awakened, causing me to push him away from me.

Hindi pa nga ako nag-tootbrush!

The next thing I saw was Yohan on the floor, groaning. My eyes immediately widened from realization. I pushed him too hard! Oh My God! What have I done?!

"Are you okay?!" I asked him worriedly.

Yohan didn't answer. He sat down on the floor and leaned his back against the side of the bed. He didn't look at me and just stayed silent. Silence enveloped us for a while before I decided to speak.

"I'm sorry..." I spoke in Korean to show my full sincerity.

I slowly got up from the bed and sat beside him. I saw how he moved a little away from me as he wrapped his arms around his knees, pouting. Because of that, I tried poking his arms to get his attention, but he didn't move and just ignored me, which made me smile.
