“I get it now. So what happen in this case is just the implementation of the theory in the beginning of the chapter?” Lisa nods and then Rosie points to a question below the article. “But I still don't get the meaning of this question. What do you think about it?”

And that’s how both of them spend their time in Rosie’s room, gather around the textbook on the study table with Rosie keeps asking questions and Lisa explains the answer. When Rosie finally closes the book, the time is already close to 10pm. The girl leans back on her seat while do some stretching.

“You’re surprisingly good at this subject.”

A grin is visible at the ghost’s face as she answers, “I always like social things like that.”

Rosie nods before she turns her eyes to the ghost with one elbow on the table and her chin on the back of her hand. She then says, “Lis, I still have one more essay I need to finish and can yo-“

“No.” Rosie gives Lisa a look although that doesn’t deter the ghost to say again, “I’m not doing your assignment for you.”

“I’m not even going to ask you that. I know you can’t do that, your hands will just pass through the laptop.” Lisa lets out suppressed laughs at that retort while Rosie continues, “I just think maybe you can give me opinions about it.”

Lisa nods. “I can do that and, by the way, you still don't tell me yet about what happened between you and Jisoo a few days ago.”

“By the way too, I'm still not forgiving you for leaving me alone with that Jisoo."

This time Lisa doesn’t bother to suppress her laughs. "Come on, it wasn't that bad and, really, how was it?”

Images of that day come without been asked too. From Jisoo, the bus, the old house, the sorry that kept being muttered over and over again, and to the old woman ghost.

Tell her it’s not her fault. Tell them it’s not their fault.’

Rosie lets out a breath. “It’s strange.”

There are a lot of things she doesn’t understand. Why did Jisoo say sorry? Who’s that old woman? What’s their relationship? And if Jisoo said she wants to pay respect, why did she go to the house? If you want to pay respect to somebody who’s already dead, isn't it better to go to the grave instead?

The image of the old woman who’s a ghost now crosses Rosie’s mind.

Ah, of course. The ghost is still there. Did Jisoo go there to visit the ghost?

“Soo isn’t that bad though, right?”

Lisa’s question forcefully pulls Rosie out from her mind. The girl turns her head to the ghost and answers, “She’s scary.” Lisa chuckles and Rosie lets her finish first before she continues, “But yes, she isn’t that bad.”

A smile comes to Lisa’s face. Why? Rosie doesn't know but then the smile turns into a fond one and Rosie immediately gets the rough idea. That kind of smile only comes out when this ghost talks or thinks about certain person.

“Speaking about that girl, what’s your relationship with her?” Rosie decides to ask. “You seem fond of her.”

Lisa blinks at that question but then another fond smile graces her face as she asks back, “Is it that obvious?”

It’s really obvious actually.

Lisa stays quite for a while and looks like she’s thinking but then her mouth starts to open, “Jisoo is… she is….” The ghost closes her mouth and goes quiet again, contemplating what to say, before she parts her lips to settle with, “Jisoo is my most favorite person in the world.”
