Heavy. All of her body feels heavy. Rosie tries to move her arms, or legs, or anything but to no avail. They stay rooted on the ground and there are some things on top of her, preventing her to move. Preventing her to get up.
What happen?
She remembers had two ghosts passed through her so suddenly and took her off guard. She remembers heard loud sound come from somewhere above her. She remembers felt something knock her down, taking her breath off of her. But after that…
What happen? What happen after that?
Something on top her moves, pinning her to the ground even more. No, she wants to get up. She doesn’t like this, having her ability to move around robbed. It makes her feel so helpless, it's scary.
Rosie can vaguely hear the sound of her name and something wet yet warm trickle down her forehead. She clenches her closed eyes before forces them to open. And it’s dark, making her doubt she already opens her eyes. But then slowly but surely her eyes begin to get used to the darkness that broke slightly by the moonlight. Her blurry eyesight starts to get clearer and her eyes immediately widen when she sees what in front of her.
“JISSSOOO!!”
Much to Rosie’s horror, the girl on top of her doesn’t say anything and not because she doesn’t want to but because she can’t. The younger girl tries to move her body again but once again, she finds herself unable to do it because she trapped, below the mountain of crates and a warm body. But none of the crates wounded her, somebody else taking her place.
Another wet yet warm fluid trickles down her face and because now Rosie has her eyes open, she can see the red color. She also knows none of the blood comes from her.
“Soo! Chaeng!”
The yell make Rosie turns her eyes and those eyes meet Lisa’s.
“Lis! Lisa, help!!”
Lisa’s hand shoots to nearby crate but it’s just able to pass through it. Another arm moves yet the same thing happen. Rosie makes an attempt to move again, trying to push Jisoo slightly away from her, but the girl moves her body down as her hold on the younger girl gets tighter, trapping Rosie in the protective embrace even more.
“JISOO, STOP HELPING ME! PLEASE, STOP HELPING ME!”
Rosie can’t help the sobs that break free when Jisoo just pushes her to the ground even more, persistently trying to protect her. The sobs joined by fear when Rosie feels the other girl’s hold begins to slacken, indicating the latter begins to lost consciousness. That makes the tight embrace falter though. Rosie quickly uses the chance to free her arm and grab a nearby crate, trying to shove it away.
“Chaeng, remove the crate on your right instead! It’s the base!”
Rosie moves her eyes to the crate Lisa points at. With little space she had, the girl changes her arm’s direction and hit that certain crate with her elbow. The force just make it moves a little so Rosie hits it again, and again, and again. And she’s finally able to push the crate way, making some other crates fall over and scrape her arm. But it’s still okay. This wound is nothing compare to what Jisoo had.
“That crate next, Chaeng!”
Rosie tries to ignore Jisoo’s weak breaths on her neck, tries to ignore the breaths that become fainter and fainter (it's just her imagination, it’s just her imagination, it’sjustherimaginationit’sjustherimaginationit’sjustherimagination) as she grabs the next crate Lisa pointed.
“Can you move your left arm? Hold on a little longer and try to hit that crate on your left!”
It’s not her that needs to be told hold on! It's the other girl! Nevertheless, Rosie still does what she was told to do. Rosie doesn't how long she does that but she knows the relief she felt when they finally out from the mountain of crates. She cradles Jisoo’s weak body close to her as Lisa kneels in front of the wounded girl with worriedness plastered on her face. The latter’s transparent hand strokes Jisoo’s forehead and because the hand is transparent, none of the blood dirtied it. Rosie lets out a breath.
