Rosie just rings the bell one time yet, not so long after that, the front door of Kim household opened and she immediately comes eye to eye with worried looking Kim Jennie. The younger girl’s eyes look straight at Rosie before move to her older sister on Rosie’s shoulder. Jennie immediately reaches for her sister, pulling the older girl to her. Jisoo smiles gently at her sister.

“Hi, Jennie.”

And Jennie smiles back at her older sister as gently. “Hi, Unnie.”

Rosie watches the younger Kim’s eyes search Jisoo’s body only to stay at the locket Jisoo held tightly and the wound on Jisoo’s arm. The younger Kim heaves a soft breath before moves her eyes back to Rosie. The older girl prepares herself, especially when Jennie’s mouth opens.

“Thank you.”

Rosie blinks.

“Thank you so much,” Jennie says again. “For bringing my sister back to me.” She hesitates a bit before continues, “And I’m sorry, for yelling at you at the hospital a few days ago.”

Rosie’s shoulders slacken, like some burden being lifted away from her shoulders, as she answers, “You’re welcome and it’s okay. I broke my promise after all. I promised I’ll take care of your sister yet she ended up getting hurt because of me.”

Jennie shakes her head. “It still wasn’t your fault. Emotion got me back there.”

“I still broke a promise, Jennie.”

Jennie doesn’t say anything while Jisoo keeps watching their exchange in silent. In the end, the youngest Kim nods at Rosie. “Okay, both of us are at fault then.” She then offers a hand to the older girl. “No hard feelings, I hope.”

Rosie looks at the hand in surprise although, second later, a smile grazes her lips and she shakes that hand. “No hard feelings and, before I forget, thank you.” Jennie looks at Rosie in confusion so the latter continues, “Thank you for taking care of Jisoo. Thank you for making sure she’s all right. And I’m not the only who’s grateful to you. Lisa and Mr. Lee are grateful too.”

“I’ll take care of my older sister even without anybody asking. She’s my sister and my only sister after all.”

Rosie needs to smile at that quick reply and she knows even without looking that the ghosts around her are smiling too. The same smile isn’t plastered on Jisoo’s face who just looks at her sister with eyes that don’t give anything away. Rosie thinks Jennie notices that yet the younger girl doesn’t look back. She purposefully keeps facing Rosie with expression that doesn’t give anything away either.

It seems these two sisters are the same with feeling, they’re not good at expressing it.

Rosie feels another smile plays on her lips before she lets go Jennie’s hand, takes out Jisoo’s car key from her pocket, and gives it to the younger girl. “Here, Jisoo’s car key. I can’t let her drive with that condition.” Jennie nods as she takes the key and Rosie talks again, “I need to go. Thank you again for everything, you two. Keep in touch, okay?”

Jennie nods again but, before Rosie’s able to take even one step away, Jisoo suddenly speaks up, “How you go back, Rosie? You can borrow my car again.”

Rosie shakes her head. “No, it’s okay. I can take bus.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes.”

Jisoo doesn’t question her again after that and she lets herself being led to the house by Jennie. Mr. Lee quickly follows the two Kims with a small whisper of ‘Thank you again’ to Rosie and her ghost entourages. The human watches the closed door for a little while before she turns her head to Lisa and Hank.
