"Jisoo haunted by a ghost!!"
Rosie flinches at the loud voice (and to think people said her voice is loud) but she honestly doesn't blame this ghost to act like this. She will be worried too if she was Lisa. Hell, she isn't Lisa and she's already worried.
"Not all of the ghosts are bad though so this doesn't necessarily mean Jisoo is in danger, right? Like You're.. not dangerous," Rosie says from her sitting position on the bed while the ghost keeps walking restlessly around her room. Despite what she says, Rosie also knows not all of ghosts are like Lisa and, from the look in her face, Rosie knows Lisa thinks the same. That thought doesn't stop the human to talk again, "And Jisoo seems aware there's a ghost following her. She can do something then, can't she?"
"It isn't that simple, Chaeng," Lisa quickly answers as she takes a seat beside Rosie. "Ghosts usually come to human because they want something from the human. That something can differ from something really bad to really good. Soo knows that but the problem with her is she can't interact with ghost like you do." Rosie blinks while her mind begins to process that information. "That means it doesn't matter even if she's aware of ghost or know there's a ghost who wants something from her..."
"She can't do anything about it," Rosie concludes and Lisa nods. In other words the only difference between Jisoo's case and the usual case is this girl is aware of the situation yet still unable to do anything about it. Rosie honestly doesn't know is that a good thing or not.
With a loud groan, Rosie throws the rest of her body to her bed. This means the words Jisoo said is just to make sure she won't get worried. And it doesn't work because she's really worried now. Rosie groans again as she brings one arm up to cover her eyes.
"Do you know who that ghost is?" Rosie hears Lisa's voice from beside her. "If we know who.. maybe we can do something."
Rosie lets out a breath. "He's Mrs. Lee's husband. Mr. Lee I presume."
The girl lets out another breath and waits for an answer but what she hears is the sound of silent. Rosie brings her arm down and turns her head to the ghost but what she sees is Lisa's shocked face and rigid body. Rosie blinks.
"Mr. Lee?" Lisa starts to say with really slow and really quiet voice. "Mr. Lee you said?"
Rosie carefully nods. The way this ghost reacts actually scared Rosie a little. Lisa's eyes keep moving but they seem unfocused and her face becomes white. The tall ghost then brings her hand to her mouth but even with that hand on the mouth, Rosie still can hear Lisa keeps mumbling, "Of course, of course. Of course he'll haunt Her. Is that why I'm unable to find him? Does he know I won't go to Soo?"
Rosie cautiously sits up. "Lis?"
The ghost keeps muttering something to herself for a little more before her eyes slowly move to Rosie. The latter lets out a breath at the unsure look in those eyes but then Lisa closes her eyes and Rosie can see the way this ghost is trying to calm herself down. After a while Lisa opens her eyes and says (although Rosie can hear the tremble in her voice), "Jisoo will be all right. I know that ghost. He won't do anything to her."
That still isn't enough to convince Rosie. "What does he want from her though?"
"I don't know, Chaeng." Rosie doesn't believe that answer at all, which Lisa seems to realize because she talks again, "I really don't know although I can think a few things, like the locket... or his wife."
Rosie doesn't say anything, waiting for the ghost to say more, but Lisa doesn't say anything else either. It seems this ghost still reluctant to tell her some things but at this point Rosie needs to admit she also needs to be a little more considerate. There are some things in this, that not her problem after all. Rosie lies down on her bed again.
