Hey y'all it's me Astro again being bored in class bc I'm better than everyone. Ok so we r in Spanish class rn and we had to do a biography about someone who does the same activity as us. I didn't wanna say drawing cuz everyone fuckin knows that here like it's exhausting being better than everyone at drawing boob- I mean anatomy. Anyway I chose guitar cuz I also do that so I chose none other than Brian May guitarrist of Queen. If you know me u know I'm a big fan of the man and the band. I've loved them for 2 and a half years already. Like when I tell you I love them I mean it. Tbh they literally saved my life when I was on the lowest point in th year I started listening to them. But anyway enough abt that so I started writing like a rough draft abt the biography and I realized I didn't have to research anything. Like I already know everything abt this man like it's insane. But I'm not surprised like I'm literally obsessed with every single member of Queen, like cmon within the first 2 weeks of listening to them I researched everything abt the members and stalked them (jk but not rlly) but yes lmao. Brian was like my biggest inspiration to play electric guitar when I was already taking acoustic guitar classes. I also have a red electric guitar (though it doesn't look anything like his but AT LEAST ITS RED) but yeah red is my fav color pls I'm not republican i swear I just think the color is badass. But yeah. So that's what IV been doing.
Also imma rant abt music theory bc as a guitarist AND a pianist I gotta just rant. Ok so as a guitarist it's kinda easy cuz the notes are just so good and i can actually read and understand them. But piano? God damnit listen I love the piano I love it's sound and the feelings it gives me I've been playing it since I was 6 but goddamn bro I never understood the notes. I only know C, A, and E in treble clef that's it the others I can't locate them at all. Like I've been complaining abt this for fuckin years now. I took classes but damn I never understood I hate music theory. I love music I love being a musician but I HATE MUSIC THEORY SO DAMN MUCH. Anyway please kill me guitar notes > piano notes.
