CHAPTER 27: It's You

I looked for Lalisa in the whole Kim Mansion. My heart quickly shattered into pieces when I saw her hiding in the back part of our land.

She hugging her legs and her face is buried to her knees. She looked like a five-year old kid who got separted from her mother in the crowd.

I went to her and wrapped my arms at her upper body. She crying silently but I can feel her body is shaking.

"Don't keep it to yourself, Lili." I said softly and that's her cue. She cried her whole heart and she keep repeating the same sentence.

"I-it's my... father." She have a hard time talking because of too much crying.

I can feel her sadness, she might want to hug her father but she can't since her father knows that his daughter already died years ago. She can't just introduce herself to him that she is his daughter, she might scare him instead of making him believe.

After almost 2 hours of crying, she pulled away a bit from me but my arms still wrapped at her shoulder.

She stare at my feline eyes and I saw all the emotions she feeling right now through her eyes.

Sad, lost, and scared...

She leaned her forehead against mine and she closed her eyes.

"T-thank you...for being here with me when I needed you the most." She whispered and I can smell her minty breathe.

"I'm always here for you, Hun." I kissed the tip of her nose.

I hugged her tightly and she stayed comfortably in my arms. We both sitting on the ground while we listening to the sound from the nature.

"Nini?" She pulled away her head from my shoulder.

"Hmm?" I hummed in response and she made me looked at her.

"You are a very good person and a very responsible girlfriend." I chuckled.

"Not really." She shook her head.

"It's true, Nini. A good person deserve someone good too and responsible. God will send you a good karma if you continue being a nice person like this."

"A good karma, huh?" She nodded. "I think he already send me a good karma."

"Really?" She asked cutely and I nodded. "When? Where? What happen? Is it a thing? Or an opportunity?"

"It's who." She furrow her eyebrows and looked at me confusedly.

"Who is it then?" I pointed at her.

"It's you."

"Me?" I nodded.

"He probably sent you here for me, to change my perspective in life."

"I don't get it."

"I'm a serious person, a bit introvert,  intimidating, reserved woman, and mean especially to you. I'm like a robot that have a same routine everyday which is waking up in the morning, preparing myself for school, hours of studying in school, going home, finish all my school works, and sleep.  I'm only focusing in my career and taking care of my sick little sister, Ella.

"Same routine everyday, I keep everything on the line, I barely made mistakes, I don't want to disappoint anyone especially my parents that's why I'm studying hard and helping our family business, and the least thing I want to do is to fall in love with someone. But guess what? I fallen in love with you and it's the greatest thing happen in my life.

"I thought before that love is just a hindrance to achieve everything we want. It will only cause pain and we will only get a temporary happiness. However, my perspective change about love when I discovered that I'm deeply in love with you, Lalisa." I cupped her face and I bumped my nose against her nose.
