CHAPTER 34: Demons

Jisoo Pov

I arrived at the chapel where Roseanne had told me to go. I went inside and I saw Ella with her parents. They immediately greeted me and we went to the basement, where we could make sure we were absolutely safe.

There is a small window here in the basement. I think it was made to peek outside.

I grab a chair and I stand there to see outside. I frowned when I saw a group of three men wearing black outfits roaming around outside.

I noticed that the sky was dark, like it was about to rain. I locked the window and closed the curtain.

"We are not safe outside." I stated that made them all look at me.

"Is there something wrong outside?" Uncle Jiyong asked and I nodded.

"There are three men roaming outside, and I bet they will harm us." I said and they nodded in understanding.

We sat comfortably on the couch and Ella turned on the small TV to at least forget that we were in a dangerous situation.

All of a sudden, I felt my phone vibrate. I opened it and I saw Irene, who was calling me.

On the Phone

Irene: Jisoo-yah, where are you?

Jisoo: Why?

Irene: Did you see the news?

Jisoo: No, what's wrong?

Irene: See it yourself.

"Ella, can you change to a news channel?" I asked Ella and she obliged.

"A local has seen supernatural activity and believes that he has just witnessed angels fighting a fallen angel."

"He took a video of it but it was too blurry and the video was taken while he was running away. "

Irene: Do you think it's them?

Jisoo: It's probably Roseanne, Ryujin, and Lalisa.

Irene: What's going on?

Jisoo: Jennie got kidnapped.

Irene: Wait, what?

Jisoo: Don't worry, they've already saved her.

I frowned when Irene and Unnie didn't respond. I looked at my phone and we are still on the line, but why is she not responding?

Jisoo: Unnie?

Irene: Jisoo-yah, there are three men wearing black outfits and standing in my front door.

Jisoo: Unnie, don't ever open the door, and make sure you lock it.

Irene: I already did. I'm also inside my room now.

Jisoo: Good to hear then.

Irene: I will hang up the phone now.

Jisoo: Ok, unnie.

Call Ended

I put my phone back in my pocket and I sat beside Ella when suddenly we heard a loud thunder.

Ella immediately hugged me and closed her eyes. She is afraid of thunder like Jenduekie.

"Shhh, it's fine. "Thunder can't hurt you." I rubbed her back soothingly, and I felt her body relax.
