Lalisa

I'm sitting in the living room with Mrs. Kim and Ella. I felt Mrs. Kim looking at me, and I think she was examing me.

"Is there something wrong, Mrs. Kim?" I asked and she nodded.

"It's either Mom or Auntie." She corrected me and I nodded. "I have a question for you."

"Go on, you can ask me anything." I smiled at her, which she reciprocated.

"Why so pretty? You really look like a Barbie doll. If I dress you in feminine clothes, you will look beautiful, and if I dress you in masculine clothes, you will look handsome. " I smiled awkwardly at her and scratched my nape shyly.

"That's a compliment, P'Lisa." Ella said.

"Thank you for the compliment, Auntie." I bowed to her.

"What's with P'Lisa?" Auntie asked and she looked at Ella and I back and forth.

"Search it on google, Mom. I'm too lazy to explain." Ella said, and her mom flicked her forehead.

"Aigoo, what happened to this kid?" Auntie shook her head in disbelief.

"We lecture her about eating too much fast food and drinking soda." I said and Auntie nodded in understanding.

"You are good at taking care of kids, Lalisa." Auntie said, and I slightly nodded in response.

Ella turned on the TV and we watched some series while we waited for Jennie and her dad.

I don't have any idea what this is, but I think this story is about children's games. This series is titled "Squid Game", and its name is catchy.

My jaw dropped when a man got killed while playing 'red light, green light'. Auntie immediately turned off the TV because Ella is too young for that series.

"Mom, why did you turn it off?" Ella whined.

"Let's just watch other series." Auntie opened the TV again and changed the series.

I can't believe I just witnessed a killing. I know it's not real, but it looks so real.

"Lalisa." I heard Mr. Kim's voice. When I turned around to see where the voice was coming from, I saw Mr. Kim standing at the top of the stairs.

"Why?" I asked him and I could see in his eyes the worry.

"I think you should talk to my daughter." I furrow my eyebrows and look at him with confusion.

"What's wrong?" I stood up from my seat and slowly walked towards him.

"Just talk and calm her for me." He patted my shoulder and I nodded.

I walked to Jennie's room and knocked on the door before I went inside. I saw her hugging her knees, hitting herself, and crying.

I quickly ran to her and held her hands to stop her from hitting herself. She looked at me and tried to push me, but I hugged her tightly.

"Shhhh, it's fine." I stroke the back of her head.

"L-leave..." she said weakly as she continued crying.

I took a quick look around her room and saw that her room was so messy. It looks like she's throwing some of her things everywhere.

"I am never going to do that. I am never going to leave you." I kissed her head and she kept trying to push me away until she got tired.

She buried her face in my chest and cried silently, which made me more worried.
I don't like how she cries silently, like she was afraid that someone would hear her cry.
