~Shuichis POV~
I stood in front of the dorms, scanning my eyes across the nameplates plastered onto the old schools stone walls.
My sight was then directed to the hallways connecting to the room I was standing in. Looking around to see if anyone was standing or walking past nearby.
After looking around around three times I walked up the door labeled "Kokichi Ouma" and lightly knocked on the door.
I stood in an almost silence. The sun shining through the cracked glass windows peered inside making the inside of the old school building shine in the afternoon light. A light breeze blew consistently threw those same windows, making a leaf fly past me across to the other side of the room.
After a short while of standing there in anticipation the door slowly creeped open the tiniest nudge, before flinging open faster then I could take a step back to make room for the person inside to have space to step out.
A purple haired male flung himself onto me giving me a tight hug.
"Hello Saihara-Chan!" He said, still clinging onto me.
I lifted a hand up to his shoulder and rapped my arm around him as well, before patting him on the shoulder lightly.
"I'm doing amazing Kichi, but I can't really breath in this hug." I muttered.
"Oh! My bad!" Replied the male in question, releasing his arms from their previous tight grip around my body, before grabbing one of my hands and dragging me inside of his dorm still standing with its door hanging open. I stretched my arm back to close it just before the handle was out of reach.
He dragged me over to his bathroom before opening a secret door which lead to a cluttered room with a purple tinted light shingling down on desks and monitors surrounding a single spinning chair in the middle of the room. A couple of shelves lined the walls in one side and on the other there were some drawers.
"Sooooo, why are you here?" The purple haired, self proclaimed, supreme leader said happily, sitting down the somewhat still spinning chair, and letting go of my hand.
"Well, I was walking around outside and I found something I thought you might like!" I replied, lifting a hand to my pocket to grab the single flower laying carefully in my shirt pocket and pulling it and handing it to the other in front of me.
"Ohhhh! It's so pretty! Where did you find it?" He asked, excitedly taking the flower and placing it down into a neatly kept vase of flowers sitting on one of the desks nearby.
"I found this garden outside and remembered these are your favorite type of flower, so I decided to get you one." I replied, feeling my cheeks heat up a bit at the others cute excitement.
"A garden? I think I saw the artist planting some flowers. No idea where she got them from though." Ouma said, getting up off the chair and walking over to the drawers on the other side of the dimly lit room.
"Probably the warehouse. Maybe one of the monokubs put some seeds in there." I replied, walking over to him.
He was digging through the messy cabinets. He had left a couple of them open and it was clear he hadn't exactly taken a lot of time to neaten up the place that well.
"Actually, speaking of the monokubs, did they come in here asking for anything?" I asked, leaning over Ouma's shoulder, trying to figure out exactly what he was looking for.
"They did actually. Suuuper weird. Asked me if they could use the flashback lights or something." He replied, still quickly sorting through messily thrown in folders and files.
"You didn't ask them what they were for?" I asked. "Also, what are you looking for?" I lifted a hand and placed it on top of one of his, stopping it momentarily from rapidly searching
Ouma diverted his attention from the drawers to his hand, then to me, then back to the drawers.
He then looked back over to me with a look on his face that could either be explained as childish disgust, or curiously. Maybe a mix of both.
"Of course I did, they just didn't tell me and ran off like dumb bunnies." He finally said, before looking back the unorganized folders and lifted his hand from underneath mine to keep looking for whatever he had started his search for.
"What are you looking for?" I asked.
Nothing was heard except for a quiet beeping from one of the monitors and the flipping of pages.
"Is he ignoring me?" I thought, looking down at the boys hands quickly sorting though papers. It was obvious, whatever he was looking for, he was dead set on finding it.
"Here it is!" He suddenly yelled excitedly, pulling out a note book that had the words "Memories" messily written onto an old purple cover. A few stickers were stuck on parts of it, there were some markings that showed there used to be more stickers, but they had fallen off somewhere along the way.
"What's that?" I asked, following as the purple haired male excitedly walked outside of the monitor room into his bedroom and flipped onto his bed. I slowly sat down next to him as he carefully opened the cover of the book.
Inside were pictures. Tons and tons of neatly kept pictures taped onto the pages of the note book. They were all pictures of me, or me and Kichi.
Memories.

~Flashback~
We walked through the busy crafting store. We were trying to locate the painting section, to get some supplies and props for cosplay, when Kichi stopped as we were walking through the notebooks.
"Kichi?" I asked, walking over to where he was standing, running his finger over a plastic wrapped cover of a purple notebook.
"Can we get this?" He asked, picking up the notebook and looking at the price. "It's pretty cheap."
I stared at the boy standing right in front of the window. The evening light shone onto him perfectly, making it look as if he was shining in the sunset behind him.
"Sure! I'll get it for you." I replied, lifting the phone I was holding up and silently taking a picture of the sight.
"Awesome! Now let's go get that paint!" He said, before quickly dashing off in the direction we were going in previously.
"Wait up!" I yelled, turning the corner and chasing after him laughing lightheartedly.
————————————
I giggled as Kichi flipped through the pages of pictures, pointing to certain ones and happily stating something exciting, weird, or made it memorable, that happened during that day.
"And in this one, you got me three balloons after I lost one." The purple haired male said before giggling a bit.
"You know what, you got me a lot of stuff Huh?" He said, picking up the notebook, "Like this, for example."
"Y'know, there's one more thing I wanna get you." I replied, looking the boy in the eyes.
"What?" He asked.
I leaned over to the shorter male, my lips slowly pressing against his before sitting back up.
His cheeks flushed a beautiful shade of pink, and I could feel mine heating up as well.
I smiled at him and said,
"I Love you Kichi."
