~Third Person~

"Oh? Have you come to a consensus already?" the bear in the throne assumed.

The ultimates looked at each other. They looked at the floor, the ceiling, the windows, really whatever else they could.

"Well then, it's voting time!" Monokuma continued. A beep spread throughout the room signaling the start of a countdown on the screen of each persons podium.

Before long, the count reached zero and one final beep sounded. Everyone's attention was directed towards the main screen above the bear's head.

Everyone waited anxiously. When the tallies started appearing on screen however, there was a gasp of panic which caused everyone else to freeze momentarily.

Shuichi and a few others turned towards the cause of the sound. The green haired girl quickly put on a determined face, but it was clear that underneath she was scared. Scared of the fate she knew was coming.

"We have an anonymous decision! However is she really guilty? Let's see!" the bear's speech continued on, ignoring the feelings of fear and anxiousness spreading through the crowd of students.

"Tenko Chabashira has been found guilty!" called out the high pitched robotic voice. The aforementioned girl raised her arms up in defense, as if that would be enough to protect her from the punishment ahead of her.

She opened her mouth, ready to say something. But she knew there wasn't anything to say at this point. It was too late. She had already made her move. She acted on her desire to escape, and it caused her to end up in the position. It really was her fault, huh?

She let her arms rest at her side. Just as she was about to accept her punishment, tell Himiko she was sorry and how she felt-

There was a click and the feeling of cold metal on her neck.

She was suddenly pulled away from the other students, away into the shadows.

She was swept into an empty room. She looked around, realizing it was a dojo she was quite familiar with. A replica of the one she would train in along with her master.

She braced herself and took a fighting stance. Even if it was inevitable, she wasn't going down without a fight.

She paused, waiting for the slightest sound or movement. Suddenly, an unknown women appeared and went in for an attack. Tenko quickly disposed of the threat and readied to fight for her life.

Soon more foes appeared. She quickly defeated them all, until they start coming in with weapons. Soon the people stoped coming at all, and were replaced with robots. They slowly became more and more enhanced for combat.

She grew tired and beaten, fighting the remaining enemies with the last of her strength. Just as they all fell, she collapsed to the floor.

She expected to feel accomplished, but she's not. Still, there is nothing left to fight, right? She's free to leave. She lived.

She looked up, ready to see her beloved red head once more. To apologize to her, even if she isn't forgiven. She would do anything to make it up to her.

Suddenly, a sharp pain struck the back of her neck. She got one last look up, only to be met by the blurry face of a man. Someone she thought to be a degenerate. Beneath her.

Her eyes widened as she realized this was how she was going to die. She tried to yell, but couldn't make any other sound than a slight gurgle. She started to lose feeling in her limbs as she lost consciousness. Her body started to lose heat as it was slowly surrounded by a puddle of her own blood.

Then, she was gone.

From behind a gate that separated them from the now deceased girl, the spectators stared in shock. Some covered their mouths, or turned away, not strong enough to look at the gruesome sight before them.

The blue haired detective's eyes lingered on the body in front of him. But his stare wasn't one of shock. It was amazement.

"She really put up a fight to the very end, huh?" he thought, directing his gaze to the floor to fit in with the others around him. "But no one can escape despair!"

The urge to smile pulled at his lips. He took a quick breath and suppressed it. He looked over to the leader on the other side of the room. He was overseeing the reaction of his fellow students with a smile.

However, his reaction didn't go unnoticed. The astronaut stomped up to him, looking him dead in the eye as he clenched his fist by his side.

"What are you smiling at!?" he yelled. The other looked up at him with an uninterested gaze.

"Isn't that obvious? Are you really that much of an idiot?" he responded with a smirk. That didn't sit well with the astronaut. The leader waited for a response, but it didn't come. Not in words, anyway.

A smack shattered the rooms momentary silence, and it was quickly fallowed by the sound of a body hitting the floor.

"You're sick! Someone died and you're laughing about it!?" the towering male said said to the other. Kokichi lifted a hand to his cheek and scoffed.

He was about to continue when out of no where a girl with brown pigtails appeared and placed a hand on his shoulder. She whispered something in his ear that no one else could hear.

"Fine," he replied, turning away from the boy in the floor, the girl by his side. He looked over at the detective with an annoyed look on his face.

Shuichi made his way over to the drama, standing at the astronauts other, unoccupied side. He snagged a quick glance over his shoulder.

Kokichi gave him a reassuring grin, a sign to stay in character. The detective gave a quick nod, but gave a look to the other saying that he'd check up on him later. He knew the astronaut hit hard. His check was sore for a while when he got punched.

He looked back at the male beside him.

"Are you okay?" he asked as if he were the one who got hit in the face. All he got in response was a nod. The three made their way to the elevator.

After a while Kokichi joined them inside, and the elevator delivered all the students back
to the school grounds. Shuichi managed to deviate from the others and make his way back to his dorm.

He grabbed the phone hidden in the drawer of his bedside table and called Kokichi. He heard the other pick up, and was sent straight into his investigation of the others well-being.

"Are you okay?" he said in a concerned voice. He heard a slight giggle from the other end.

"Of course I am! Supreme leaders are above little injury's like that!" Kokichi responded.

"Liar. I saw how you held your cheek after he punched you."

"Wow, you're so observant! My beloved is so amazing!"

There was a short pause.

"You aren't getting out of this with flattery. I'm coming over to your dorm to check on you."

There was a short groan in response, but it got cut off as he ended the call. He shoved the device back into the corner of the drawer and made his way to the door.

He always had to look after Kokichi. Maybe that was just because he was so worried all the time. He didn't mind so much though. Time he got to spend with the other was still time he got to spend with him.

He soon found himself in front of the Kokichi's door. He lifted a hand to ring the bell, but the door was already in motion.

And it hit him right in the face.

His vision went black as he heard his name being called out.
