"Remind me why we're here again?" I anxiously pull on the collar of my shirt while watching a police officer attempt to go into Derek Hale's house.

As any sane person would do, he chickens out and peels out of the driveway.

"I know you can hear me." Scott stares at the hale house, clearly seeing something that I am not.

"Where is he? I don't see him! Maybe if I ju-" Scott puts his pointer finger against my mouth as to shush me, and continues with what he was saying.

"I need your help."

"What if he murders us!" My voice is muffled through the hand that is still squished against my face.

After standing still for a second in the rain, Scott pulls me towards the property. We make our way to the porch, that seems as if it could fall apart in any second. The door swings open, and Derek steps out in front of us, not saying a word.

"Okay..So we kinda got you arrested," I start,

"and we basically announced you were here to the hunters..." Scott continues,

"and we don't know what happened to your sister." I add on,

"But I think I did something last night. I had a dream about..."

Derek eyes Scott, waiting for him to mention Allison so he can prove him wrong.

"...Someone...but someone else got hurt. And it turns out that part of the dream might have actually happened."

Derek doesn't show any surprise in his expression, obviously knowing that a new werewolf like Scott, or possibly me, would end up doing something like this.

"You think you attacked the driver?"

"Did you see what I did?" Scott asks, concerned about the fact that Derek knows about the bus driver.

"No."

"Can you at least tell me the truth? Am I gonna hurt someone?" Scott is starting to panic, I can hear it in his heartbeat.

"Yes."

"Could I kill someone?"

"Yes."

"Am I gonna kill someone?"

"Probably."

"What about me?" I add on, wanting to hear what he has to say about me.

"Oh, Absolutely - For every one of those answers. There is something different about you than every other beta I've ever met. You somehow stop yourself from shifting way easier than normal, your scream the other night actually made me think my ears were gonna fall off, and I think you're extremely dangerous. To put it in easy words, I honestly think you're capable of mass murder, and if you're not careful, you will do it."

"Oh."

Scott looks at me and opens his mouth, as if to say something, but instead just leaves it hanging open in shock.

"Anyways," Derek continues as if he didn't just drop a severely concerning piece of information on us, "If you want to remember, all you have to do is go back to the bus."

"Mhm." Scott doesn't even bother to ask any more questions before turning around and walking off of the porch. I follow him back into the woods as he calls Stiles for a ride.

I stare at the closed gate to the school, immediately regretting my decision to come with them for this. I can't get kicked out of school after just starting.
