Two days after my sixteenth birthday I stand before everyone making the biggest decision of my life, what faction will I choose? In the two days since my birthday I have struggled to decide which faction to choose. I know that the Erudite are looking for Divergents because my parents are busy researching new ways to find and control them, find and control people like me, they would easily find me out. Now it is almost as dangerous in Dauntless since they have allied with the Erudite. It leaves me with no choice but to go against who I am. I smile as my blood drips and mingles with the dirt in the Amity bowl. I notice my parents from the corner of my eye and it looks like they don't even care that I have decided to leave them, after all I was always just a hinderance keeping them from their research. Who knows, I might have just made the decision that will save my life and change it for the better.
