Damn how was I suppose to tell her about the initiation?! I guess I didn’t plan it out that well. Damn I literally ran away for a week when I heard about it. Then the fucking god damn training that came afterward? That was the shittiest part about becoming a sharp. THE MOTHERFUCKIN TRAINING.
“Ooookk, so Leilah about the whole initiation crap. Ummm don’t freak or anything but you should sit down. “ She kept standing while I sat down instead.
“The thing is you have to lose your mortality before you become a sharp.”
She looked confused at first but then she realized what was gong to happen. “So you mean I have to die?”
“Yes, and if you don’t die on the first round, they’ll keep it up. The more rounds you last the higher position you get to be in the guard. I died on the first round so I’m just a soldier.” Sometimes when I look back on it I feel like a wimp. I died because I thought Leilah was being tortured. Reality was I just hallucinating.
“So how many rounds are there?”
“Four levels. Each one gets harder than the first one and the way of death depends on the person.”
“Okay then so how did you die then?”
“ I walked into a trap that burned me alive. I Had a friend who got raped and another who had to commit suicide with a spoon.” At the sound of it I know it can sound weird but its pretty gruesome how he told it.
“Wow are you fucken serio? With a SPOON? How he do it?”
“He scooped his eyes out, ate them for no reason and bleed to death."
When ever I think back on tose times I just want to punch something. Why could they just have made us like eat worms and drink half a gallon of pee? I heard that in some places you have to suck on a bloody tampon. That’s fucken gross though. Whoever thought of that was a retard.
