Part 21

• Next morning •

You woke up early and after your morning shower, you headed downstairs to the kitchen to make breakfast and start your work.

You reached the cabinet to grab a pan and took some vegetables, bacon and eggs from the fridge. You started cooking your omelette as you waited for the bread in the toaster.

Thor: "Morning, beautiful!"

Y/N: "Oh, hi sprinkles!"

Thor: "Smells really good in here"

Y/N: "Thanks, wanna join me?"

Thor: "Sure!"

You served 2 plates. You gave Thor one plate and joined him at the countertop.

Thor: "So, how about we go out tonight?"

Y/N: "What?"

Thor: "You remember our pending date, right?"

Y/N: "Oh yes, sure!"

That was a lie, you didn't remember at all.

Thor: "Is it okay at 6:00?"

Y/N: "Yeah, it's perfect"

Both kept eating breakfast and talking about some memories from the vacations.

After you finished having breakfast, Thor offered to clean up and wash the dishes so you could start working.

You headed to your office to work on some reports and attended meetings and interviews with Tony, who was planning to expand the team and searching for new trainers.

• 4:00 pm •

The meetings just ended and you headed to your room to get ready for your date with Thor.

Wanda and Nat heard about the date and offered to help you get ready, but obviously they wanted to gossip.

You were siting on a chair in front of your mirror as Wanda was doing your makeup and Nat was lying on your bed.

Nat: "So, you and Thor?"

Wanda: "Smells like a new couple in here!"

Y/N: "Oh no, we're just hanging out"

Nat: "I remember THAT kiss-"

Wanda: "You mean THOSE 2 kisses"

Nat: "Right, 2 kisses, and they didn't seem like you were just hanging out"

Your cheeks went bright red at the memories of the reunion when Thor and you had a quite making out session in front of everyone.

Y/N: "God, stop it, we're just hanging out, end of conversation"

Wanda and Nat laughed at you. Nat finally got up from bed and started digging in your closet as Wanda was almost finished with your makeup. Nat chose a long black dress which had an opening that revealed your leg.

Once Wanda was done, they left you alone so you could change. You stood in front of your mirror admiring the beautiful dress that perfectly embraced every curve of your body.

You took your purse and headed out of your room. When you started walking downstairs, you saw that Tony, Wanda, Steve, Nat and Thor were gathering at the end of the stairs, just like if it was your prom and everyone was there cheering you.

Thor took a step forward offering you his hand to finish walking down the stairs.

Thor: "Wow, you look gorgeous"

Y/N: "Thanks sprinkles, you look great too"

That was true. He was wearing a dark red suit jacket above of an all black outfit. His long hair sloppily gathered in a ponytail, leaving few threads hanging on his face.

Thor: "Shall we go?"

Y/N: "Sure, let's go"

Wanda: "Goodbye Thor!"

Nat: "Goodbye Y/N!"

Tony: "Take care of her, point break"

Steve: "And behave yourselves"

Y/N: "We will, don't worry dad"

Steve sighed at the nickname you gave him.

Thor: "Or maybe not"

Thor patted Steve's shoulder teasing him. Everyone laughed and said their last goodbyes.
Both jumped on one of Tony's cars and drove into the dark night. As the rest saw you leaving, they kept talking among themselves.

Steve: "Do you think it'll work?"

Nat: "It's gonna be really difficult"

Wanda: "We know both are very proud to accept their feelings"

The ride was fun, you enjoyed seeing Thor singing while he drove. Once you arrived, he parked the car right in front of the fancy restaurant he had chosen. He hurried out of the car to open your door for you and he helped you get out as he offered you his arm to walk into the restaurant, just like a true gentleman.

The woman at the reception guided you to a private room in the restaurant. It was beautifully decorated with white and golden ornaments that it looked like a palace.

You sat at the table in front of each other. Thor ordered his favorite liquor and you ordered a glass of wine.

Thor: "So, what's the real reason you're not dating right now?"

Y/N: "Well, I haven't been looking for someone actually"

Thor: "Gotcha"

Y/N: "You're a nice guy Thor, why aren't you dating either?"

Thor: "Because you know, I haven't found a girl who can handle the lifestyle we've"

Y/N: "Fair enough, well, cheers to not dating anyone"

You raised your glass to him.

• Back at the compound •

Bucky: "Y/N?"

He poked his head into your room looking for you, but there was just your empty bed.

Steve: "Are you looking for Y/N?"

He stood behind Bucky scaring him. Bucky startled and turned to face Steve.

Bucky: "Holy crap Steve, you scared me!"

Steve: "I'm sorry, you were saying...?"

Bucky: "Yeah, I was looking for Y/N but she's nowhere to be found"

Sam: "That's because she's not here"

He joined Steve and Bucky's conversation.

Bucky: "What?"

Steve: "She went on a date with Thor"

Bucky: "A date with Thor?"

Sam: "Yeah, is there a problem?"

Bucky: "Oh no, of course not"

Steve: "Why are you looking for her, by the way? If I may ask"

Bucky: "Oh, I think she took some of my shirts"

Steve and Sam's eyes went wide open at his response and their dirty minds started making up conclusions, that actually were true but they didn't need to know it.

Bucky: "I mean they mixed with hers when we returned from the beach"

Steve and Sam just stared at each other as Bucky ran downstairs avoiding more questions.
