Part 24

• Next morning •

You woke up and headed directly to the shower. You picked a confortable undercover outfit for the mission. It consisted of a
completely black outfit with a light brown leather jacket and brown boots.

Steve, Sam, Bucky and you hoped on one of Tony's cars. Sam was driving, Steve was in the front seat next to Sam and well, Bucky and you were sitting at the back.

Y/N: "I can't believe you sat us at the back like two babies"

Steve: "I told you, if you act like babies, we'll treat you like babies"

That was true, maybe Bucky and you were beginning to get along by hooking up but around the others you still acted like you hated each other.

Sam: "And it was also for calling me bird guy"

Y/N: "Are we almost at the club?"

Steve was about to answer you when suddenly a loud sound came from the top of the car.

Y/N: "What the f-"

One of Pierce's agents was on top of the car and made a hole to grab the steering wheel. The car was out of control and the guy kept smashing his knife against the car opening various holes. The agent saw that Bucky and you were at back and plunged his knife once more trying to hit you.

Y/N: "Oh my God!"

You jumped to the front to Steve's lap.

Sam: "This wasn't part of the plan!"

You grabbed the gun that you had on your leg, Bucky moved to the side giving you space to point the gun and shoot at the agent.

The agent stretched his arm into the car through the window and grabbed Bucky's shoulder throwing him away.

Y/N: "Bucky!"

Steve: "Shoot him Y/N!"

You reloaded your gun and pointed at the agent but a van crashed into the car and with the impact your gun fell to the ground.

By now, the car was totally out of control, Sam and you were shocked and didn't know what to do. Steve, even though he had you on his lap, managed to open the car's door and with his strength he ripped it from the car.

Steve: "Hold on tight"

He grabbed you and Sam and jumped out of the car falling above the shield as the car exploded right after you jumped.

Once you stopped sliding through the bridge, Sam hid behind a car, Steve and you got up looking around for the agents.

Steve saw that one of the agents was preparing a bomb to throw it at you.

Steve: "Y/N, go away!"

He pushed you with Sam and covered himself with the shield. He got thrown off the bridge by the impact as the other agents started shooting at Sam and you.

Both of you parted ways to distract the agents. Another bomb was thrown to the car where you were hiding so you jumped to the opposite side to avoid the explosion and started running towards the edge of the bridge. You jumped off the bridge and shot a hook to hang up yourself.

Y/N: "I'm out"

You said stepping on the ground as you ran as far as you could from the bridge. Steve began to wake up from the unconsciousness the explosion caused him. He stood up and saw the agents jumping off the bridge loading massive weapons. They started to shoot at him but he managed to cover himself with his shield again.

Y/N: "Steve, Sam, do you copy me?"

You called them through the earpieces.

Steve: "Copy"

Sam: "I'm still alive"

As they confirmed their status you saw the agent that attacked you on the car, who was also the head of the mission. You jumped on him by surprise, and tried to asphyxiate him. With his strength he threw you against a car leaving you very weak to react quickly.

The agent reloaded his gun and was ready to shoot at you but a mysterious bullet appeared from nowhere and passed near his face distracting him. Both of you turned to find the origin of the bullet and found a man standing right in front of you.

Y/N: "Bunny?"

Bucky started shooting again to keep the agent distracted. His plan worked as the agent ran away leaving you enough space to get up.

Bucky: "Get up!"

Y/N: "How come you're still alive?"

Bucky: "Watch out!"

Bucky pushed you down to save you from getting hurt by a bullet that was coming directly to your face.

Y/N: "Damn, you're very bossy"

The agent hid behind a car as he kept shooting. Bucky and you ran to an abandoned house which was the safest place.

Bucky: "What were you thinking?"

Y/N: "Excuse me?"

Bucky: "Jumping on the agent like that, you could've died!"

Y/N: "I know what I'm doing!"

Bucky: "No, you're not!"

Y/N: "What's that supposed to mean?"

Bucky: "You're not prepared for this Y/N!"

You couldn't see Bucky's expression as he immediately regretted what he just said. You ran away mad, disappointed and sad, not watching your way.

Bucky: "Y/N wait!"

You felt a sharp pain on your shoulder. You looked at the area and a trail of blood started to fall from your shoulder.

Bucky: "Shit!"- He said as he saw the scene.

You hid behind a car in pain almost fainting and not knowing what to do.
